Chapter 15

Tia POV:

I woke up to the bed empty and a note on the night stand.

"I'm sorry I couldn't stay to see you wake up. I gotta open the shop but maybe I'll see you tonight. -Kaleo"

I smiled at the note that he left and got out of bed I checked the weather and saw it pouring. I changed into a tank top and grabbed one of the thickest jackets that I had I looked for a pair of skinny jeans and a pair of boots to wear. I live in Hilo and I'm used to the rainy weather but I enjoy getting bundled up and staying warm. I grabbed my phone, wallet and car keys. I was going to shop today. I needed to buy things for my family and I need to decorate the house for Christmas.

I went to a bunch of stores buying gifts for my family I found some stuff at a cheap price maybe cause some things were on sale. I did grocery shopping again and instead of going home I went to Kaleo's shop. He was cleaning and organizing the counter I entered with a smile on my face.

"Hey Babe"

He looked up and smiled, "Hey" he walked around the counter and placed his hands on my waist leaning down and capturing my lips in a kiss. He pulled away and placed his forehead on mine, "I was hoping to stop by tonight"

"Well plans changed, I wanted to see you" I said, he chuckled and shook his head. I heard someone clear their throat and Kaleo looked over my shoulder, "How may I help you today Ma'am?" was all he said I was about to walk out of his arms but he pulled me back to him and held me against his side

"Yes hi, I was wondering if I could schedule an appointment to get a tattoo done on my ankle?"

"Sure" Kaleo walked with his arm around my waist and went behind the counter. I got lost in my thoughts and wasn't paying attention to their conversation.

"Alright see you Friday" I heard the customer leave the shop I heard Kaleo chuckle I looked at him and playfully glared at him

"What are you thinking in that beautiful head of yours?"

I shrugged my shoulders, "Just some things that's all, don't worry about it" was all I said before going in front of the counter and looked at the time, "I should get going I have a lot to do at home"

"I'm still seeing you tonight and can I ask you something?" he said before I left the shop. I looked at him with a questioning look on my face.

"You're cute when do that look but anyways I was wondering if I could pick up Cory from school?"

I smiled, he's so cute to ask me such simple things.

"Sure that's fine, I'll text him and let him know I gotta pick up Casey from my Moms. Cory wanted them to spend some time with each other and give me a break"

"Ok great, I'll see you tonight" I smiled and shook my head. I got in my car and went to pick up Casey. After picking up Casey and talking to my mom I headed home I wanted to at least decorate before Cory came home and before Kaleo came over. When I got home I put away all the groceries before going in my room and wrapping gifts all at the same time listening to Christmas music. I decorated the house and put the gifts under the tree. I cooked Kalua pig, I took out a container of poi, I made Ham and Pineapple, I took out another container of poke (Fish), I made some chicken for dinner when I was done I set it all up on the counter. Kaleo and Cory weren't even at the house yet which gave me time to make some dessert such as, Haupia, Banana cream pie, and some chocolate chip cookies.

A few hours later I heard 2 cars pull up before I could go to the door and open it Kaleo and Cory walked in. Cory went in his room and checked on Casey. Kaleo closed the door and looked at me, "Sorry we're late we went Christmas shopping"

Cory came out of his room with Casey awake, "Yeah! Kaleo and I have a surprise for you but first" Cory reached into his pocket and took a piece of paper. I took it from him and looked at it then at Kaleo and Cory.

"Kaleo you didn't" was all I said he shrugged his shoulders and looked at me.

"I did. He passed and got his license today"

"Wait when? How?" I asked. I was happy, proud and shocked all at the same time

"Today after he picked me up" Cory said. I looked at the two of them and looked at Cory.

"Cory I'm so sorry I've been wanting to take you but I never got the chance I was gonna surprise you this week and take you to get it" I said a little disappointed and feeling guilty

"It's ok sis you were busy and so was I and we never had the chance to make an appointment. Now that Kaleo's in our life I know I can go to him too sometimes. We also have one more surprise for you but it's outside" Kaleo wrapped his arm around my shoulders and we went outside. There in the driveway was Corys dream car he smiled and came over to me.

"Surprise and Merry Christmas" they both said. I was at a loss for words I wasn't mad I just didn't know what to say I hugged Kaleo and cried on his chest with a smile on my face. I finally looked up at him and cupped his face bringing it towards mine Kaleos lips met mine as he cupped my face catching any tears that spilt from my eyes. We pulled away when Cory cleared his throat.

"As cute as this moment is. I officially have my own car and sis I can move all of Caseys baby stuff in the car and I'll be careful when I'm driving with her." I nodded and smiled.

"So is anyone hungry? Cause I have dinner ready" I said

"Oh please I'm starving" Cory ran into the house leaving me and Kaleo laughing. We went in the house to see Cory sitting at the table stuffing his face with food he looked at us and swallowed what he had before saying, "What I'm hungry" Kaleo and I chuckled we went in the kitchen to make our plates.

After dinner I had the boys open one of their gifts since they surprised me with Cory's license and his car. I got Kaleo a photo frame so that he can put in some pictures. I got Cory a new jacket that he's been wanting for a long time. When the boys finished opening their gifts we had dessert and locked the door and windows. Cory was tired so he went to sleep early. I walked to my room and grabbed a pair of clothes before heading to the bathroom to take a shower. I got out a few minutes later and got in bed. Kaleo wrapped his arms around me from behind and pulled me closer. I turned off the lights and went to sleep.

I sorta got lazy with this chapter but I'll probably go back and fix it depending on the comments that I get on it I don't know we'll see but I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
