"Welcome to Sovereignty" Raven announced pushing himself off of the desk he was currently leaning on.
His hair lay perfectly spiked on top of his head, his fringe directly over his left eye. His skinny, although has muscle that is perfectly sculpted on his arms. He stands at the same height as me, An inch or two taller.
He camouflages in the dark along with everyone else. Each wearing black, their eyes looking straight towards me yet their face blank of emotion. As if a mask.
All three eyes observing my structure, my movement , yet they don't allow it to show. Void of any emotion.
I stay standing in my position taking In the scenery before me.
What looks like an abandoned, destroyed building from the outside is nothing more than a set up office base filled with everything needed. Rows of computers fill the corner of the building while a desk sits isolated in the middle to the back. Papers are spread across the desk as if recently used while the computers buzz here and there.
There own secured secret hideout.
"I see you did your research then" Raven speaks once more. His voice is strong and certain, confidence radiating every word that leaves his mouth.
My gaze reverts back to his standing frame which he is now analysing a folder and flipping through the pages.
I see Koko's picture and information as he flips the paper once again realising it's the folder my parents gave me.
Instinctively my head turns towards my now open bag and missing folder he managed to get into his grip without me even realising. Something that was so closely attached to me in his grasp within seconds.
My eyebrows furrow as my eyes glare at the figure in front of me. Instead of observing the folder though, his eyes are just staring in my direction, void of any emotion.
"Have a seat, Kyra" he states simply.
As the words leave his mouth a chair instantly pushes me off balance causing me to fall back into it with surprise.
A chair moves on its own accord once again, only this time behind him as he sits just in time it stops.
Koko just sits on the table as Michael continues playing with his keys as he lays next to her, as if nothing is even happening right now yet Koko's gaze has never left my sight.
"So Tighami has gotten to you" his question is straight forward and to the point. An easy question you'd think , yet my mind registers nothing under that name.
"What happened?"
Another simple question but I couldn't find a correct answer, any answer in that matter. So I sit silent with a confused look on my face. Just staring at the strangers in front of me.
"I see, Aiyoko" he states simply moving towards Koko's side.
My gaze immediately looks towards Koko, her eyes big and glassy as they never leave my gaze. I begin to feel a little lifeless, my mind becoming nothing but an endless sky of fluffy clouds. The only thing I am able to see is Koko's dark orbs looking back at me.
"She was at a party. It was around 11.30 when she left. She got home and found both her parents tied up and helpless. Their mouths were covered and she was getting angry. She was looking for answers. Tighami was responsible. Crow was with him. She was able to free her parents and get both Tighami and Crow out of the house" although her voice was as sweet as an innocent girl or mother , her words were like a knife to the heart and I could feel myself slipping.
How, how is she doing this?
"They ended up in the kitchen where her parents handed her the folder and information and she ran to the car"
I found it hard trying to breathe, like my heart was slowly failing.
I hear a gasp escape Koko's lips.
"Wait.. Th-that. She wasn't suppose to be there. They planned it... She wasn't suppose to be there. The plan... It went wrong... This wasn't suppose to happen..."
The blackness of Koko's eyes begin regaining to their normal colour, although her gaze still remains on me only this time she looks a little confused and ... Shocked?
"What happened!?" Raven was looking straight at his little sister yet she still never looked away. Michael was up also staring between Koko and I as it was like she was trying so hard to find out what happened.
"What happened" Raven repeated once more this time winning her attention.
"She doesn't know. The plan back fired once they found out she was coming early. They erased it all. She doesn't know a thing, yet alone remember the day or what happened to her. They never even thought of telling her about it. They erased that day in her life too. Their...they survived" she said, her eyebrows furrowed as she holds a questioning look on her face.
