-TWO-

"Hey, I saw Catarman crying in the bench covered with mud and leaves. What did you do?"

"You know her?" I asked.

"By name." He looks at us, I shook my head no. I never touch her.

"Ah...we did it!" Chorused the two, Alder and Darylle.

"She's funny. Hindi gumaganti. You know I hate girls who always cry," Alder said.

"Wanna go to Bekah's pad? She's cooking dinner."

"Her cooking sucks," I commented. Last time, we ate her chiffon cake and I almost puke. The presentation was good and catchy pero wag mo lang kakainin.

"Then you should cook," Darylle said, pinching my cheeks.

"Why don't we order?" I suggested and found them grimacing. Okay.

"Hey, Bekah, darlin'. Stop trying to put your house down, okay? We got eatables from your fave restaurant." I laughed at Alder while Bekah threw him a look.

While they're having their childish row, I sat on the bar stool. I loathe these chairs. Nahulog ako dati. I watched as Sage prepares the table. Bekah wants to be independent. She lives by herself. Tita doesn't want this idea though. But Bekah is persuasive.

"Oh my gosh!" I heard myself banging against the floor. I slipped. Damn. That was quite a fall. I heard snorting sounds. They're trying not to laugh! Ah! Ang sakit.

"Are you good?" Sage can't hold back his laughter. It erupted in the room, while the others followed.

"Damn good, Sage." That's why I hate chairs like that. Swear di na talaga ako uupo sa mga ganyan.

He helped me to get on my feet, leaving his arm around my waist.

"Bakit ka ba kasi tumalon?" Asked Darylle, holding his tummy. I catch a glimpse of Alder wiping his tears away.

"There's a cockroach on your house, Bekah!" I cried. I hate cockroaches.

"Honey, you're giving away your life for an insect? Unbelievable." Can he not understand? It's a darn cockroach!

I pinched his side. "Cockroach nga kasi yun!" I retorted, feeling flushed. Hinampas ko siya sa braso tska tumukbo kay Bekah.

"Bekah, there's a cockroach flying--whatever--wandering in your house! You should do a quick action!"

She shot me a bashful look which she always have.

"It's a shame you already seen your birthday present!" Her lips curled into a smile. Nag-apir pa sila ni Alder. Crazy.

"Bitch."

"You're bitchier." She shot back, smiling with pride as she blew me a kiss.

"For your safety, call your maid." Naupo na kami sa table. All the foods look so delicious, inviting even.

"Why not yours? You have a bunch of 'em," I said, swallowing the cupcake Sage thrust into my mouth to shut me up.

"Yours is nearer," she shot back, eyeing me with amusement. "Sage, clean her mouth please."

Sage turned my chin to the side as he wiped something off the side of my lips. Chocolate, tss.

"Bitch, go to my room, okay?" I nodded then casually went to her room which is plain as white except for the huge paintings. Everything is white and clear, it looks like heaven.
