After walking for what felt like years, Lauren had made it to Ally's house. Lauren sighed nervously and knocked. Lauren waited for a few seconds and Ally had opened the door. Ally smiled, "Come in."
Lauren softly smiled and walked inside, "Mom. Dad. This is Lauren." Ally kindly introduced her parents to Lauren, "She's new to San Antonio." Lauren smiled walking over to Lauren's parents to introduce herself, "Hello." Lauren smiled shaking Jerry and Patricia's hand softly. "Where you from?" Jerry nicely asked. "Miami." Lauren smiled. "Miami? Why did you move all the way over here?" Patricia laughed. "Family stuff." Lauren sighed.
"Oh, that's understandable. Please make yourself at home." Patricia smiled.
"Um, we'll be in my room." Ally laughed, "My room is this way." Ally said walking in front of Lauren and guiding her to her room. "So this is my room." Ally smiled. "It's messy, I know." Ally laughed, "But make yourself comfortable." Ally said picking up the clothes off of the floor and fixing her bed just a bit so it wouldn't look so messy.
"You have a nice house." Lauren says calmly while sitting on Ally's bed. "Thank you." Ally smiled sitting down next to Lauren. "How are you? How is San Antonio treating you?" Ally asked curiously.
"You don't even want to know." Lauren sadly laughs, "Well you can talk to me if you want." Ally says, "I feel completely alone." Lauren sighed, "My aunt barely even acknowledged my brother, sister and I. I have to find my way around here alone because she won't help. It's all so much, I don't know." Lauren shook her head softly. "I don't feel like.. nevermind."
"I'm sorry. You don't deserve that but Lauren, you can talk to me whenever. I'm here." Ally sighed along with Lauren. "Thank you. How are you, though? You never talk about yourself as much as I do." Lauren laughs changing the subject. "I'm.." Ally paused for a moment. "I'm doing okay, surprisingly." Ally laughed playing around with the bracelets on her wrist. "Just okay?" Lauren asked, questioning.
"Yeah, I mean, me and my ex girlfriend broke up. I thought I wasn't ever going to stop hurting but I find myself getting better everyday." Ally smiled moving around on the bed nervously. "Girlfriend?" Lauren said curiously. "Yes, I am gay. I know, Shocker!" Ally laughed standing up from her bed and walking to her closest to find a shirt.
"I just didn't think that you were that way," Lauren laughed quietly, "But so am I." Lauren shyly says. "You are?" Ally says turning around quickly. "Yeah.. are you surprised?" Lauren laughed. "Just a little." Ally laughs turning around and smiling to herself.
"So, Lauren. How about I show you around San Antonio?" Ally said finally pulling a shirt out of her closet. "Oh, yes. Please. I need to find my way around this city." Lauren excitedly says.
"Okay, let me go change into something else and we can go." Ally smiled walking out of her room.
