"Charlie, where are we on the map?" Abraham asked as he looked to his friend who was holding open a map.
Charlie looked down at his map and then to the signs he saw on the side of the road. "Uh, we should be right around South Brunswick about now."
"So Adalyn, where in Brooklyn was your cruise ship docked?" Asked Richard.
"I can't remember." Adalyn responded. "I'm sorry."
"Oh that's alright." Richard told her. "We'll be able to find it once we get into the city."
"Why didn't Noah want us to go with him?" Asked DeMeko.
"I don't know, what's it matter?" Asked Crash.
"Maybe he likes them more than us." DeMeko told him.
"There's no way." Crash told him. "We've been through think and thin with him."
"Yeah, I guess you're right." DeMeko laughed.
"So you guys ever been to the big city?" Asked Noah.
"What New York?" Edgar asked.
"Uh, yeah." Noah laughed.
"Yeah when I was really young." Edgar responded.
"I actually lived in the city till I was seven years old." Kaitlyn told Noah. "That was when my dad got a job in Pennsylvania and then the rest is history."
"Wow, that's crazy." Noah responded. "Edgar only once? As a kid?"
"Yes, just once." Edgar laughed awkwardly.
"Well, I loved the city but it was always packed with too many people."
"Honestly it's probably no different than it used to be." Edgar told Noah.
"What do you mean?" Noah asked.
"Think about it." Edgar told both Noah and Katty. "All those people are now flesh hungry? It'll be ten times as insane."
"Oh shit, I forgot entirely about what it might be like now." Said Noah unsurely.
"Yeah, now thinking about it. How are we gonna just waltz in and get to a ship?" Edgar asked.
"Maybe the city was evacuated early on." Kaitlyn told them.
"That's impossible." Said Edgar. "Our town wasn't even able to evacuate. Think about New York City. There's absolutely no way in hell that'd work out."
"Edgar, could you hand me a walkie-talkie from inside that glove compartment?" Asked Noah as he continued watching the road.
Edgar bent over toward the glove box and opened it up, it was stocked piled with supplies in basically any type of situation possible. He grabbed a walkie-talkie and then handed it over to Noah, then he shoved a few gauze packs back into the glove compartment and slammed it shut.
Noah pressed down onto the responsive button, "Dad." He said then let go of the button.
"Was that Noah?" Asked Richard as he looked into his rearview mirror back to DeMeko and Crash.
"Yeah, here." Crash threw their walkie-talkie up to Richard.
"Noah, what's wrong?" Richard asked quickly.
"What happens when we go into the city and the zombies are everywhere?" Noah asked his father over the walkie.
Richard clicked down onto the responsive button and stuttered, then let go of the button. "I didn't think about that." He said to everyone in his van.
