Unmasked Massacre

Corey ran down the street as fast as he could, he hadn't any idea what the hell was going on but he sure knew it wasn't good. Benji and Zeke turned the corner, Zeke fired off a few bullets as Corey ran off into a yard.

"What the hell was that?" Martin asked as he jumped around to look out over Cranbury.

"I'm not sure." Andrew said. "But it sounded like it was inside our walls."

"That's because it was." Martin said. He ran down the walkway and slid down the ladder off of the walls defenses, he ran over to the armory and broke inside to hit a button over a PA system causing a loud noise to go off, it was like a police siren.

"Were those gun shots?" Jim asked Julie as he jumped to his feet and out of bed.

"I don't know, you're the cop!" Julie shouted.

"Yeah, they were." Jim told her, then he looked at the open bedroom door and back to Julie. "Yeah, definitley they were."

Zeke and Benji fired their guns towards Corey again but he just was able to dodge the bullets behind another house.

"Ben, they know we're here now!" Zeke yelled as he aimed his gun to one of the speakers allowing the sirens to go off, then he shot it out.

"I know." Benji replied. "So let's just, stay frosty."

Corey ran out onto a road and saw someone running towards the shots, so he booked it towards him.

"Corey!" Dave shouted. "What the hell are you doing out here so late!?"

"I was trying to get home!" Corey cried.

"Alright, alright." Dave grabbed hold of him and pulled him into a hug. "You're alright." He looked up towards where Corey came from and saw both masked men come to view and stare him down. Dave's eyes widened and then he jumped out of view behind a car with Corey just as soon as bullets were fired in their direction.

"Go hide with all the kids, I'm going to find out what the hell is going on out there." Jim told Julie as he got his jeans on. "Here this is all I have in the house." He handed her a pocket knife. "Now go get the kids and hide, cut any mother fucker that comes into this house that isn't me." Then he ran out of the room hobbling on his still slowly healing leg.

Martin ran out of the armory with a shotgun and saw Andrew running towards him with Carlos, Bernie, and Bill.

"Stay safe." Martin tell them all as they ran by him. "I'll see you out there!"He shouted as he walked out into the night chasing sounds.

The gunmen were shooting at Dave and Corey but the car was stopping  every shot from hitting.

"Corey, you need to listen to me!" Dave yelled theough the chaos. "They're about to run out of ammo in their guns and you need to run when that happens!"

"No way!" Corey cried.

"If you want to live, you'll do what I tell you!" Dave shouted back.

"Fine!" Corey screamed.

Then the gun fire halted.

"Go now!" Dave yelled.

Corey jumped up into his feet and started to run, Martin ran into Corey just as he got up. Corey fell to the ground again and then Benji & Zeke began firing their guns again, Martin dropped down near Corey and Dave who was further back still hanging behind the car.

"Dammit Martin!" Dave shouted.

"Sorry!" Martin yelled back.

"What do we do?!" Corey screamed.
