After a long day.... As the late night was clearly upon them, Richard was driving the van down the road into Cranbury, he slowed as he passed by a lone brick house and honked the van's horn. There however wasn't any answer... Nobody was at the stop between Cranbury. So he kept on driving through.
"How close are we?" Ethan asked in pain from being bitten earlier in the day.
Richard looked in his rearview mirror at him, "Don't worry, we're less than five minutes away. I stopped back here because usually we have a man posted there through the night."
"Why wasn't he there?" Asked Travis.
"Plenty of reasons, some good and some bad." Richard told him. "I'm banking on it being good."
"Let's hope so." Ethan mumbled.
"How do you think it'll be here?" Mike asked Max.
"I'm not sure." She responded quickly.
"I can tell you how it'll be." Richard said. "You'll all be in a process, placed under watch in our processing building that I will have you wait until we find housing for all of you."
"That all?" Ethan smiled a bit.
"Yeah." Richard laughed. "That's all."
"Hey, will you be writing in that book what happened today?" Abraham asked as he drove the truck behind the van heading toward Cranbury.
"Of course I am." Charlie told him. "I have to, as a rule... As respect."
Finally, after days away from home... The gate to Cranbury came into view. Richard laughed as he saw it, a big spotlight shined down on the van as it neared. Everyone in the van awed over the walls.
From inside Cranbury, Lonnie pulled the crank to open the doors, slowly allowing the van to enter within the town, along with the truck behind it. The moment the truck was inside, Lonnie cranked the doors shut once again, then ran down to Richard who was already getting out of the van.
"Where the hell is everyone else?" Richard asked as he got out of the vehicle, slamming the door shut behind him. "Where's Martin and Zeke?"
"Well, Richard you have um... Missed alot in the last couple of days, sir." Lonnie told him promptly.
"What's the mean Lonnie?" Richard asked very seriously as he saw Abraham and Charlie get out of the truck heading towards them.
"Well, honestly sir." Lonnie saw the new people in the back of the van. "It's probably best you settle them in and then we talk."
"Talk about what?" Abraham asked.
"Like I just told Richard, it's best if we talk at Town Hall, settle those new folks in and then have a civil discussion about things." Lonnie told the three of them.
Richard sighed loudly. "Fine." He opened the door to the van. "Meet me there. All three of you. We'll talk about." Then he got in the van and drove off towards Town Hall.
Abraham and Charlie got in the truck, Lonnie got in the back of the truck, then they followed the van.
"So, you all need to be interviewed by me before getting arranged housing, that's how it works around here." Richard told everybody in th van. "You tell me your story and I tell you wether or not I let you live here."
"What's the point for me?" Ethan asked as he winced in pain.
"Because everyone gets interviewed." Richard told him, then the can stopped outside of a big building, the unofficial, so called Cranbury Town Hall. "Alright everybody, get out of the van, leave everything inside and I mean everything, bags, guns, all of it!" Richard demanded as he opened his door and walked around the other side of the car watching as Crash, DeMeko, Adalyn, Renard, Mike, Max, Travis, and Ethan got out of the van.
