I wake up with slobber on my face. "Oh, Meral." I say pushing her aside. I get out of bed and change into my long sleeves, pants, and boots. I put on my jacket, and Meral and I head downstairs to eat a heavy breakfast.

After breakfast, we head to the castle. We were the only ones at home since everyone had left.

When we enter the castle, a butler approaches us and escorts us to the basement conference room. We enter the elevator and descend into the basement.

"Why are we here?" I whispered to Andrew as I sit down. "We're gonna watch Awry's army. The general had given a letter to Vern and Krace asking us to surrender. Since they, of course, said no, they declared war. We're watching and waiting. After a few minutes, we'll head to Dragons Lair." He whispers back. "Where are all the citizens of Giant's Keep?" I ask. "In the underground homes with the humans. Only soldiers are up here with us." He replies. I nod.

Krace turned on the screen and we see Awry's army on the other side of the wall. The giants' wall is strong and made out of titanium, metal, rock, cement, and all other things hard. I don't know ho Awry's army can get through.

We saw them release bombs. But they didn't work. And then all of a sudden, there was a big explosion, and the wall's entrance was breached. The army marched through.

"How did they do that? It's really hard to break down that wall." Brandon says shocked. "They probably used deraene explosives. They're very strong and powerful explosives." Altri says without taking his eyes of the screen.

"We'd better go." Andrew says taking my hand. "You're right. I hope we can hold on till you get back." Amia says turning towards us. "What if you can't hold on?" Ashley asks. "Then we'll join the fight. But I don't think they can beat giants. Especially after nightfall." Vern says. We say goodbye and Andrew throws the sphere on the floor. But it doesn't break. Instead, it opens into a portal. He says where we want to go, and we step in.

After a minute, we find ourselves in a forest. The trees are red, with orange leaves. It was like they were on fire. The flowers were like Venus Fly Traps except more colorful. We walked on not sure where to go since there were no paths. We passed geysers spewing fire. This is a place really suitable for dragons.

We approach a gargantuan cave. A red dragon's face peeks out. "Who are you?" She asks. "I am Isis. We are travelers from Giant's Keep. And we have very urgent news to share." "Alright then. I am Ida. Daughter of Wane and Uma. Dragon leaders. Come." She says walking into the throne room. I can't say it's a throne room. There aren't any thrones. Just two dragons. Wane was a red skinned dragon and quite big. Uma was an aqua scaled dragon. Dragons measured about 8-13 feet tall and 7-10 feet wide, excluding wingspan.

"Who are these young ones?" Uma asks Ida. "They are travelers from Giant's Keep. They have urgent news to share." Ida says. Uma nods and Isis starts speaking. "You are both familiar with Awry, right?" She asks them. "Yes. She killed our other daughter two years ago. She wasn't even doing any harm!" Uma exclaims. "What about her?"

"She has declared war on the giants and the war's starting now. She's also torturing leaders in Bane, Cordialis, and Atro. She has forced King Altri and Queen Amia to step down from the throne." Isis explains. "She is sending soldiers here to convince you to join her side. We have been to King Eman and he told us to ask the giants for help to protect the humans, and to prepare for war. But Awry is asking help from you. We wish and hope that you'd join our side instead." Andrew continued.

"We will. I have always believed in King Eman. But now, I am his follower. And we will fight for Cordial." Wane says stomping his foot. The ground shakes. Wane, Uma and Ida's scales now have a purple streak on their heads. "Let's plan." Ida says.
