here is Valerius this story is just gonna be me practicing writing about this guy. art is not by me,

You sat down outside the garden, taking in the fresh air, the sun's warn rays beating on your skin. "Don't want to go to the dance..." you muttered, twirling some gold on the table. You were never fond of parties, of course it was fun to step back and watch. "Maybe I can just sit back and watch..." you thought out loud, standing up from the chair to find something nice. You walked into your room and began to look for something, Anything nice. You knew that if you were in your 'rags' Nadia calls them, she would put up a fuss. You opened up your closet to...see nothing that seems fancy. You groaned and walked out of your room and made your way down the hallway to nadia's room. You were about to straight up open the door but pushed to remember last time, you shook your head and knocked. "Uhm...nadia I need help finding a dress..." you kicked the floor.
You stepped back to see the door open to see Nadia in her more comfy clothes. "Well you came to the right person dear!" She stepped aside to let you in, to the lavander scented room. the sun's rays appeared a faint purple colour when it hit the silky curtains. Nadia walked to the closet with grace and opened it up, to reveal more than plenty of fancy clothes, even for men. You were honestly...not surpised, she is nadia After all, and you loved her. "So...you don't like alot of Pazazz, so what about this?" She held up a fine looking (suit/dress) it was plain, but not too plain. It was the kind of (suit/dress) that won't make you stand out in the crowd. You smiled and looked up at nadia "this'll work!" you nodded and ran out to your room to get everything ready.
You walked out to have some lunch then bumped into..."Sorry Valerius..." you muttered, rolling your eyes. "Oh...well is it (Y/N)...." he raised a thin brow, smirking slightly. "Yeah yeah it's me..." you grumbled, trying to act positive around this guy. "Well, I'm sorry for bumping into you...see you at the dance..." he sighed, walking away with a glass of wine in his hand. You honestly weren't surpised about it, he could practically marry wine if he could. You sat down in a table with your lunch and felt a presence sit next to you. You looked over to see portia, a smile immediately crept on your face. "Hey portia!" "Hey (Y/N), how are you?" She tilted her head and grinned warmly. "Eh, I'm doing fine...just hope I don't make a fool of myself at the party." you muttered under your breath. "I bet you won't, besides! even if something does happen, so what? everyone will soon forget about it." she shrugged and patted your back comfortingly. ((I usually just think that if I embarass myself...)) "Guess you're right..." you nibbled on your bread and glanced up at valerius. It's not that you hates the man, you just...dislike him. He has the snobbish attitude that makes you want to smack him, but he was decent and knew when to stop. Portia caught you staring and a smug grin cracked upon her face. "Who are ya staring at...~" she teased. "No one important..." you raised a brow and stared at her. "Oh...well I thought you were staring at at certain Wine lover..." she nudged your arm with her elbow. You gave her a look of disbelief "V-valerius?? NO! don't even think if such..." you hissed, your cheeks dusted with a light red. "But...you're turning red..." Portia said, still grinning with a teasing tone. "Yeah, because I'm embarassed that you were thinking I was checking out Valerius." you quoted his name with a hint of poison rolling on your tongue. "Well, yeah, he has a...bitter? personality...but you haven't got the time to talk to him..." she puased for a minute and grinned widely, the thinking light bulb lighting up. "Oh great...I don't wanna hear it..." you grumbled, crossing your arms. "You can talk to him at the da-" "no." you blocked her sentence with the very word. "Oh come on...talk to him! get to know him better." Portia rolled her eyes because of your attitude. "He's probably a really nice guy..." she added, sipping her water. You laughed, water slipping between your lips. "N-nice!? my gosh portia...did you stink something earlier?" you tilted you head, laughing. "I'm serious, yeah he called you A witch and...poured water on you--but that's not the point!" She chuckled nervously. "What matters was that was in the pass...and he probably wasn't even paying any attention to what he was doing, for all you know he might have been drunk!" She gathered up her trash when she was finished with her meal. "Besides...you won't have anyone to talk to!" She called out, walking around the corner to a unknown hallway. She wasn't completely wrong, Nadia will be busy talking to other Higher Ranked people, portia will be busy keeping everyone comfortable. "Hate it when she makes good points..." you hissed and gathered up your things to get some work done.

You looked at your clothes, and felt uncomfortable. You've never worn anything fancy...you never had the money or fancied it at all. You decided to fix up your hair a bit, to make you look more appealing instead of of a messy look. You looked at yourself in the mirror and shrugged "I tried..." you grumbled and stepped out to hear music playing, and a whole bunch of conversations. You stood on the railing that wrapped around the room to look down at the ball area, since you didn't want to get lost in the sea of people. The place was nicely decorated, the lights gave it a bright area, it was nice actually. You looked at the place you were standing to see it was a bit more dark, but dimly lit to a relaxing point. Their was some couches with a wooden table in the middle, no one seemed to occupy this area. You sat down on the couch, nibbling on some food that you snuck from the ball area.

Click Clack

You heard the sound of boots clicking the floor, creating a satisfying sound. You looked up to see Valerius braiding his hair and walking from a hallway, he looked staring at you and paused. "You look....decent." he smirked curved upon the corner of his lips. "You do too..." you said and bit sarcastically, you didn't mean it mostly. "Well, I would think you'll be down there with the people..." he sat down on the couch across from you, crossing one leg over the other. He tied his braid, finishing it off and wrapping it over to his shoulder. "No...I don't like crowds...makes me feel small." you sipped on some water. "Hmph...thought so, I don't like big crowds myself, but, I cam handle a group of 4." he pulled out a bottle of fine wine and poured it into his glass. "You really like wine." you added, staring at the rich red liquid. "Ah yes...It's a fine alcohol, but, I like Lemon water as well." he sipped on the glass. "I like to add Mint in my water...live never had alcohol." you grumbled, feeling embarassed. Valerius laugher slightly, it was warm and smooth, it was a nice laugh. "Well, would you like to have a sip?" he raised a brow and slid the glass towards you gently. You looked at the liquid filled glass and bit your lip. "Sure...but only a little bit." you muttered and took the glass with your finger tips and took a small sip, it burned. You coughed and covered your mouth ands valerius took the glass. "H-how do you drink that crap?" you chugged some of your cold water, it seems to ease the burning sensation. "You get used of it if you drink enough of it." he smirked an took another sip. "Is this strong?" you questioned, "Mm...I like my wine...strong." he grinned, hi ting that the wine was very much strong. "Why didn't you tell me that??" you snapped, but mostly in a confused way that he didn't warn you. "Well, dear, you didn't ask. therefore I didn't think much of it." he flashed a charming smirk. You felt the drunk kicking in, but just a little bit to the point that you weren't using your brain correctly. "V-valerius..." you stuttered, leaning back relaxed. "Yes (Y/N)?" he grinned, knowing what's happening. "W-why do you keep your....hair in a braid...it's Girly." you giggled. "It is not girly." he smirked and couldn't help but chuckle "It shows class, and that I and dignity..." he brushed a stray hair from his face. "Welll can I see it...un-braideded?" you leaned up, intrigued. He thought for a bit "No..." he chuckled , wresting his arms on the top if the couch. "Awwww....come on...pleaaase!" you pouted, rolling off the couch. "No..." he repeated, his eyes glittered with amusement. You pouted and stood up clumsily and laid pinned him to the couch weakly, he aloud it. "Then...I'll take it out." you shook your head, trying to double take your actions, but...you just can't, your mind was scrambled, you felt more...confident. "then do it..." he muttered, smirking. A deep red hue could he seen on your face, the sight was cute. "I-i will..." you muttered and pulled the braid around, his hair was wavy from being up, he was, attractive. You just stared, grinning slightly but shook your head. "Nonono...nu uh..." you slurred, leaning up. "Aww...but I'm so cold, I need one body to keep me warm..." he said in a sly, innocent voice. You felt your heart stop as you felt as pair of arms bring you back down, your face up against his chest. You eventually relaxed in the embrace, the thought if 'Wrong' wasn't what you were thinking, but it was mostly 'right'. Valerius sighed, not, in a aggravated tone, but relaxed instead. You looked up at him to see he was staring at the ceiling, thinking. You didn't bother to ask him about the sudden mood change, for you fell asleep in the oddly comforting embrace. "Night...Love." he murmured under his breath, twirling strands of your (H/C) locks upon his pointer finger. "Only if you knew..." he sighed.
