Desire -- Julian part 2

After a long treasurous adventure to your home you sat down under a canopy that was attached to your home. Since the sun was out with a nice cold breeze, maybe working outside in the fresh air would do you some good. You dug your fingers into the thick mass of dirt mixture and rolled it into a small ball, finally smacking it onto the wheel. You dipped a cloth into clean water and rubbed it onto the mound of dirt and began your handy work.

You were so trapped into your work you didn't realise how late it was getting. You rubbed your hands against a clean rag and stared at all of the bowls, cups, and pots you had made. "Well...look at that." you huffed and slowly stood up from your seat and sat all of the fresh creations onto a shelf for them to sit.

"Now for the family dinner..." you glared angrily at the floor and threw the towel onto the ground before walking into your room. You didn't bother to change in different clothes considering you didn't dirty the ones you had. You brushed your hair so it was halfway decent and ran out of the house and locked the door behind you.

The bitter cold nipped at your bare arms, you immediately regretted not bringing a jacket. The streets were dimly lit by lanterns being held by long poles of cast iron. The warm glow emitted from the lanterns contrasted greatly around the dark blue atmosphere and cold white light of the moon. You liked midnight strolls like this when no one was out and about and all of the families were inside eating dinner and enjoying their company. Various orange lights behind closed curtains littered around the walls of houses.

While you admired the beautiful serene scenery around you, you bumped into a chest and looked up to see julian! He looked just as surprised to see you.

"Hey! What are you doing up so late?" he laughed and immediately stood by your side.

"Oh, just..heading to my parents." you forced a smile and shrugged. "I should be asking the same thing!" you playfully punched his shoulder.

"Oh! I just uh...like going on midnight strolls..you know." he rested his arms over his chest. Truth be told, he just got done running away from guards, he hoped that they won't be coming anytime soon.

"I love doing that too!" you sounded a bit more excited than you needed to be. "I mean..." you laughed and shook your head. You lifted your chin upwards to hear rushed footsteps from ahead of you.

Julian froze in place, good thing it was dark, cause his skin grew pale, if it could even do that cue to his complexion. Quick quick, what could he do. He smiled widely as a plan popped into place.

"Wonder what's going on--" you gasped loudly once Julian abruptly pushed against you into a dark alleyway.

"Whoops!" julian yelped once he 'accidentally' slipped on the slick road, but he didn't mean to pin you against the wall like he did. He felt a knot grow in his throat as he stared at you with wide eyes.

You felt your face grow warm, a goofy smile tugging at the corner of your lips. You were too focused on the situation at hand to even care about the guards rushing past the two of you. "That was quite the trip julian?" you arched a brow.

"Least I can fall in style." his smile grew mischievous, "and created an excellent landing." his eye scanned you up and down. The fiery glow of the lantern outside the alleyway highlighted every curve of your face, and Julian was enjoying the sight of it. "You are very beautiful." he curled his fingers through your hair.

You could feel your heart hammering against your chest as you stared up at him. "Thank you.." you smiled and looked at the ground shyly. You noticed his eye flickering from your lips to your eyes.

"Do you want to kiss me Julian...?" you slithered your arms around his neck.

"Yes...." he leaned in and locked lips with yours, his gloved hands sliding down the slick walls and finding their way on your hips.
