Asra And Julian: Part 3

The sun leaked through the curtains and landed straight on your eyes, you grumbled and covered your eyes. :ast night events seemed to take effect to your dreams and you barely got any sleep. But you still felt awake now and thought it would be best to go look for julian. But before you could start anything you had to wake asra up for his arms were wrapped tightly around you waist. “asra..” you muttered and gently nudged his shoulder. He grunted and slowly pulled you tighter into the warmth of his body. You couldn’t help but smile a bit as you gently brushed some hair out of his face “...ASRA WAKE UP!!” you snapped. Asra shot up and bumped noses with you, he blushed and backed away a bit. “U-uh i’m sorry heh…” he blushed and pushed you off and got off the couch. The firewood was no longer blazing with flame but it was a gently smoulder beneath the stacks of wood. “We need to look for julian..” you frowned and got up from your spot and stretched, walking towards the door. Asra nodded in agreement and followed after you “we should go check where we last saw him…” he frowned and began to take the lead, you could tell he was waking up as they went along since his strides became more quickened and more hurried. You two then broke into a run, the woodland was much brighter and less scary in the morning. Birds chirped happily and flew past them every now and then and the sun lit up the place but not completely due to the leaves. You recognized the place you were going to and began to follow tracks that you and asra left, and the footprints led to where Julian was knocked away by the giant animal.

“Julian?” you frowned and looked into the bushes where might have been lying, but you couldn’t find any sign of him, just the sign of struggle in the dirt and...blood droplets! In the dirt you could see blood stained into the soil. “Asra!” you turned over your shoulder to get his attention. Asra looked over to you and ran over and frowned “Did you find anything?” he frowned, the look of concern twisted his face. “Yeah, there’s a small blood trail that has to be him.” you pointed at the trail that seemed to lead deeper into the woods. “We just have to remember how to get back..” he frowned and began to follow the small but hopeful trail. You felt your stomach go sick, he was hurt and you left him there in the dark alone. Just the thought of it made you want to puke, you just hoped you didn’t see a contorted, body of your limp friend on the ground. You were pulled out of your thoughts when asra gasped and broke into a run. “You found something!” you followed after him “yeah, that something is julian!” he yelled and slid onto his knees to lift up his limp body. “He still breathing but he is very weak…” he frowned and held him close. “We need to get to the cabin, we have to patch up his wound. “ asra looked over to you and lifted up from the ground with ease. “Y--you guys left….” he took in a deep breath “me…” julian muttered with his eyes barely open. “But we had to julian, of we didn’t we wouldn’t be here..” you muttered softly and tangled your fingers in his hair, he always seemed to like that. Julian hummed and relaxed, leaned his head into your hand. You looked over to asra who seemed to have a guilty look on his face, staring at the ground. You decided to not say anything and just examined the forest and it’s current beauty, then the animal that attacked you guys clawed it’s way into your thoughts. It was a big animal, it’s seemed to glow in the moonlight you remember it’s long pure white fangs. A giant mountain of fur “You think what attacked us wasa bear?” you looked over to asra and frowned. “Well that’s the only explanation, what other animal could be that big in the woods.” he frowned and looked at the ground. “Look i don’t really wat to talk about it at the moment.” He sighed and looked up from the ground “I just feel guilty...it’s my fault julian is hurt, and i put you in danger!” he added and knitted his brows together. “I just want to get out of this place and pretend it never happened.” he frowned and smiled wearily at the cabin that came into view. “Asra the fact that you got me to safety and your protected me from a suicide mission is far from putting me in danger, and now we are gonna patch julian up and take him home.” you smiled and rubbed his shoulder, opening the door for him. Asra smiled bitterly and nodded “Thank you (Y/N)...”  he hummed and walked in through the door sideways and laid julian down on the couch and propped his head up with a pillow. “You go get some medical stuff? I thought i saw some over there..”  he pointed at a cabin in the kitchen. While you rushed over to get the medicine asra tore off julians blood soaked and went wide eyed at his wound that was across his chest and down to his side. His lower lip quivered and he shook his head “D-do you have it yet?” asra frowned and raised a brow. “Yeah!” you walked over with the bag of items and almost dropped it from the sight of julian. Asra nodded “yeah it’s bad, be happy that i am taking medical class..” he frowned and began to work on the wound.
Julian grunted and struggled in his sleep, no thrashing around or anything. You went through rags of soaked blood, and cleaning the one spot on the floor and finally the couch. But it was finally done, julian looked up at the ceiling with an exhausted look on his face. “You guys came back?” you frowned and looked over at them and smiled a bit. “Of course we would julian! We love you…” you leaned down and hugged him tightly. YOu knew he had insecurities but not this bad. “I-I thought you would leave me for good…” he hugged you close, burying his face in your neck. Asra joined in on the hug “I don’t know what we would do without you Julian…” asra muttered and rubbed his arm. The three of your broke apart and stood in silence. “Sooo are we gonna stay here and be a bunch of saps? Let’s get out of here while it’s still daylight!” asra smiled and got up from the ground and stretched. Julian rolled his eyes “but what if some of us like sappy…” julian groaned as he stood up steadily, you helping him. “Of course you would like sappy stuff julian..” you teased and rolled your eyes, walking towards the door that asra was holding for you.. “You think you can walk on your own?” asra frowned and closed the door behind him and glanced at julian. Julian nodded “I could try, i should be fine..” he smiled and slowly leaned off of you, standing on both feet and began to walk, his face pinching from the pain. “I should be fine! I just need to walk on and off of it.” he shrugged and began to walk alongside the both of you. “So, ,did you get a good look at what hurt you?” asra frowned and looked over you. “No, all I remember is the bright eyes glinting in the moonlight.” he shook his head at the fowl memory that seem to give him the creeps. “Hmm..i might’ve just been a bear…” asra looked around. “That was no bear asra….” julian stopped and glanced at the both of you. “Whatever it was, it wasnt earthly…” and the fact he looked serious is what worried you. “Well, then what was it?” you arched a brow, this piqued your curiosity, almost making you not want to leave. “I don’t know…” he looked around as if something was following the three of you through the thick of the woods. “But it was bigger than a bear, and bears don’t even live here!” he added and frowned.  Earlier you could tell asra wasn’t buying the whole ‘Non earthly thing’ but his face said otherwise now. “Well i’m planning on not waiting to find out what it was, so lets move a weeee bit faster?” asra smiled nervously and chuckled.

All of you agreed to the plan and decided to leave the place as fast as they could, as soon as they made it to the car it was dark outside. Even though you were in the car you could still feel a sudden uncomfortableness lingering in the air. You looked over at the other two in the front to see they could feel the same tension. “So,  let’s agree we don’tt alk about this?” asra raised a brow and looked at julian then at the rear view mirror. “Yeah, i agree with that…” you nodded and looked ahead into the small opening of the woods. It looked so tempting and enticing as you continued to stare at the opening. “Hey you ok?” julians concerned voice rung in your ears pulling you out of your trance. “Yeah i just thought i saw something..” you shook your head and patted asras’ shoulder. “We should head home, it’s getting dark and I think our parents might be worried about us…” you raised a brow “Don’t you think?” she chuckled and leaned against the back seat. “Yeah that is a good point…” asra muttered and started up the car and began to drive away at the opposite direction of the cursed woods. You turned around to get a last look of the woods to see a human figure standing, staring at you as the car drove away. You rubbed your eyes to get a double take and noticed the thing was gone. You shrugged and sat down properly and looked ahead.

Meanwhile julian felt a strange feeling bubbling up in his chest, he bit his lip. A growls erupted from his throat as he shook his head. “What the hell…” he frowned, looking at his reflection in the window to notice his eyes were a bright yellow.

“What is wrong with me..”  he whispered under his breath.

This one is not as long, but here we go! I might make a little schedule for you all to go by with the times where I might post.
