Julian

You sighed as you looked out of the window of the cart you were in. You were currently driving to Vesuvia to meet the man you were supposed to marry. And his name was lucio, as handsome as he was..you didn’t  want to marry him. He just seemed like a jerk the last weeks you have met him. But of course you didn’t have a say in the matter...mostly because your parents wanted the money, and you were royalty. Nonetheless he was somewhat a gentlemen. The castle from afar came into view, and the place looked pretty. Even though it was opposite from your land.

Once the carriage halted to a stop you stepped out carefully and you groaned when you saw the tall, rows upon rows of stairs. Letting out a long dramatic sigh you began to walk up the stairs. Luckily you weren’t wearing a dress of some sort...that would have been dreadful. Having to tug on the fabric and hold it up to your ankles so you can step up the stairs. You huffed and waved at the guards who opened the door and bowed respectfully, You chuckled and nodded, they leaned back up. You took in the colourful scenery and smiled “This place is beautiful like he said..” you sighed to yourself and walked into the palace and met face first into a chest. You looked up to see your to-be husband. “Why hello~” he cooed and gently took your hand in his and kissed the top of it. You smiled and blushed “Hello lucio..” you swayed side to side. “Portia will show you to your room..” he grinned and stepped aside to see a short and chubby woman with long beautiful red hair. “Portia, please show her to her room..” he smiled kindly and crossed his arms over his chest. Portia nodded and began to lead you to your room, she was a little fast so it was hard to keep up..but somehow you managed. “Alright Miss! You will be staying in here, i got everything made for you if you need anything!” portia smiled and bowed. “Thank you, but you can call me (Y/N), i want to be friends!” you smiled. She nodded “Alright (Y/N) if you ever need me you know where to find me!” she smiled and walked off. You nodded and watched her leave and sighed, “Guess i could wander around…” you shrugged and began to walk down the hallways, taking in every detail. BUt as you turned the corner you met face first into a chest, you made an oof sound and looked up to see a rather handsome man. You felt a blush form on your cheeks as you stared at his eye. His dark red curly hair framed his pale face, covering a dark eyepatch on his eye. He wore a dark attire, with a large cloak behind him, the inside being a bright radiant red. “My apologies ((M’lady or Sir))..” he bowed, pressing a gloved hand on his chest. ‘Oh no it’s fine, i wasn’t watching where i was going.” you chuckled and scratched the back of your neck.  “And please call me (Y/N)” you smiled. The man nodded “my name is Julian, pleasure to meet you,((Y/N))..” he winked and gently took your hand, with such care as if you could break, he gently kissed your knuckles and leaned back up. You felt butterflies form in your stomach, keeping your eyes on his movements. “Well, i better leave...i have some things to do..” he smiled and walked off, his boots clicking upon the marbled flooring, echoing throughout the emptiness. You watched him leave as you shook your head and looked over to see portia with a smug grin. “So you met my brother?” she grinned and crossed her arms over her chest. You nodded and chuckled, grinning stupidly. “Yeah, he seems like a nice guy!” you chuckled and frowned to see she still had that smug grin on her face. “What? What is with that face?” you blushed and looked away. “Oh nothing! Just thinking! Anyways, dinner is ready and lucio is waiting for you~” she slipped off and disappeared in one of the hallways. You watched her leave and shrugged, finding your way to the kitchen.
You weren’t even in the dining room and you could smell the food, You peeked in to see Julian and lucio and portia. But there was another man that you haven’t been informed of. He had dark skin and white fluffy hair, his aura seemed calming and suspicious. You sat down next to lucio and smiled, blushing. “Hello dear..” he grinned and kissed your cheek, his blonde hair tickling your face. “Hello.” you grinned and leaned into the kiss, you leaned forward to get your plate filled with food. “So this is Asra..” lucio’s boney finger pointed at the one you saw earlier. Asra smiled and nodded “And you must of the lovely (Y/N)..” he grinned, he had a charm to his smile. “Don’t go flirting with her asra~” julian cooed and punched his shoulder. Asra’s face flushed a deep red, the hue making him glow a bit “I was not flirting!” he snapped and crossed his arms over his chest. “Yeah yeah..” julian rolled his only eye and snickered “As if~” he cooed and made secret glances on you, which you didn’t know about. “So what is your home land like?” portia asked and looked at you, tilting her head. “Well, a ton of mountains and a lot of animals. My kingdom is a bit bigger, a lot more houses than anything..” you added and shrugged, “Not really much where i live.” you chuckled and stretched, “Interesting..” asra muttered and nodded “I would like to visit sometime..if i could cast a spell that would allow me to teleport..” he shrugged and picked up his mess. “That would be nice, not having to travel..it was terrible traveling here.” you laughed and shook your head. “All that matters is that i’m here and happy..” You added, earning some smiles from your fellow friends. You got up and sighed, giving lucio a hug “Well, i’m gonna go to my room..’ you gave lucio a hug, which he returned and began to make your way down the hallway. You let out a long sigh as you opened up the door to your room, the light was dimmed, for the moonlights silver rays kissed the curtains. You got dressed into your PJ’s and curled up in the bed sheets. You turned to your side to look out the window. A small breath escaped your lips, you found your mind wandering into deep thought instead of sleeping. You leane dup when you heard a soft knock on your door, you bit your lip. “Who could be visiting in such an hour..” you mumbled and walked towards the door and opened it, expecting portia but you met with julian.

((In this scene i like to listen to Stray Cat Crossing OST - Nostalgia))  “OH, hello julian!” you smiled and chuckled lightly. “Hello, hey, i wanna show you something cool, come!” he took your hand gently. “But i need to-” “you can borrow my cloak to keep you warm!” he smiled and pulled off the piece of clothing and draped it over your shoulders. “Now let’s go!” he smiled and began to lead you out of the palace and towards a garden. “Really neat, julian.” you rolled your eyes and chuckled. “What? No! Come.” he smiled and began to walk in the lush grass, and small little green lights lifted up into the air. A smile wore on your face as you look around, you chuckled and crossed your arms over your chest and giggled. “Well, I gotta say this is beautiful…” you grinned warmly then looked up at the tall figure who stared at you with a smile. “Yeah, sorry if it isn’t much, I just think it’s really pretty..it has a charm to it you know?” he tilted his head and grinned. You nodded in agreement “I see what you mean, it’s really pretty and i’m glad you showed this to me..” you chuckled and shifted side to side. “It’s always the simple things that can be so beautiful..huh.” julian mumbled to himself and looked up at the star lit sky. You nodded “You are right about that one..” you agreed and looked at julian to see he had a warm smile on his face as if eye gazed over the sky, taking in every detail.
After standing in silence, the moon started to rise up higher, giving the atmosphere that ease feeling, of comfort. You leaned up and grinned slightly “Well, i should be going back to sleep.” you hugged him tightly and handed him his cloak. “Here you go julian, thank you for bringing me out here..” you smiled and ran back inside.

Julian watched you leave and couldn’t help but smile to himself, “Such a beauty lies underneath..” he mumbled and wrapped the cloak around his shoulders. “And such an aura so warming, that i want to bask in it..” he too, began to make his way inside the palace.

Soo I might make a part two because I have plans for this, so stay tuned XD.
