You wandered Long the empty streets, humming to yourself. You were just a Magician that everyone visited to tell their future or fortune..however they pronounce it. You had a partner named asra, well, guess you shouldn't say partner since he was gone almost half the time. So half the time you spent lonely days, afternoons, dawns on your own in your small little shop.
Normally you wouldn't have a problem with such... it it was a little too lonely.
You looked up at the sky to see the bright silver moon, the universes core, the life of the beauty of what surrounds you. Then the small stars would dance around it in the black atmosphere, you were interrupted when you heard the sounds of yelling of guards. You looked up the slick stone road to see a dark figure run beside you. "Please you must help me.." his voice sounded quick and urgent. But you helped him anyways, jumping to an answer of helping this man. You quickly unlocked your door and led him in, closing the door behind you. He walked over towards the curtains and closed them, huffing as he leaned against the wall. You walked over towards the fire place and lit it up, looking at the man dead in the eye. "Who the hell are you?" you question with some force in it. Some dark red messy hair was what you first looked at when the fires light casted upon the dark figure. It trailed down his pale frame then you looked at his steel gray eye, but it was warm. "I should ask you that too..." he said cooley as he crossed his gloved arm over his chest. "But you are in MY House.." you quickly snapped, raising a brow. "Touche..." his lips stretched into a grin as his eyes looked at you up and down. "My name is Julian...now your turn." his voice was deep and slick, with a smooth feel to it, almost mysterious. "It's (Y/N)..." you tilted your head and raised a brow. "Why were you running after the guards.." you questioned, the question piked your curiosities. "Some...Things happened that i do not wish to talk about.." he mused. You decided to let it go, you did just meet him so you were gonna leave him be. "Would you like some tea?" you asked as you pulled out a small metal Kettle ((It's a pot, i just wanted to specify that just to make ME feel better because i looked it up and it like, showed a bunch of things dealing with furniture and stuff. if i did something wrong, plehs tell meh)) "Yes, please and thank you." he rested one leg over the other and huffed. "So why did you help me, (Y/N)?" he tilted his head and looked st you with a small grin. "I was being chased by some guards..." he got up and decided to look around at all of the little trinkets that were lined up on shelves, some herbs and glass jar with old, peeling label on them. "I was under pressure...and you, well.." you didn't know why you let him in...maybe you were that desperate for company. "The human mind can do that...make you jump to conclusions, without even thinking.." he picked up a glass jar carefully and examined it. "Yeah, sounds about right." you chuckled and placed the kettle full of water over the fire, hanging it with a black metal rod that stuck between the walls. You walked over towards the jars and grabbed the one he was holding and some others, you placed in some of the herbs, a sweet aroma filled through out the room. You scooted the jars back in the shelf and sat on one of the wooden chairs.
It was silent, but you were kind of enjoying this mans company, so it wasn't to awkward. "So i'm guessing you moved here?" he tilted his head and smiled "Yeah...just for a little bit, to visit friends and family...but then i will be heading back to my home land." You smiled and looked up at him. "How long will you be staying?" he tilted his head. "Uhm..for a couple of months, i don't know." you shrugged and got up, you pulled up some cups and poured him some tea and handed it to him, you poured yourself a cup and sat down. "Are you liking it here so far?" he took a small sip, the burning of the liquid didn't seem to bother him. "Yeah, this place is really pretty i love it." you smiled happily.
It was again silent, the fires tendrils flickered and twitched in random motions as the fire snapped at the walls of the fire place, it's warm light filling the atmosphere. "Well it;s getting dark, i must take my leave." he sighed and stretched his coat wrapping around him again. "Hey uhm.." you quickly stood up and bit your lip. "Would you like to come back later?" you scratched the back of your neck shyly. "I will love to." he smiled and walked out, gently closing the foor behind him.
Silence, again
You laid on your bed as you stared up at the ceiling, thinking to yourself, soon your thought yourself to blissful sleep. Your eyelids drooped closed as your mind began to dream away.
The golden sun rose up from the line of the grounds far ahead as you can see, the town came to life when noise returned to the streets as busy moms and shopkeepers tread along. But you were just on a mission to get some sweet pumpkin bread from the chef just up the street. And maybe some herbs for tea that you used up last night. You thought about what you should get then you bumped into a familiar face...it was julian. He smiled down at you "Well hello!" he chuckled and took your hand into his gloved ones and pulled you into the place you wanted to be at, the bakery. "What are you doing out here julian?" you furrowed your brows. "They can't see me in the crowd...believe me i've done this countless of times.." he chuckled. You both looked up when a jolly male voice rung out. "(Y/N)! you came for your pumpkin bread?" he grinned and pulled out some pumpkin bread from a clay stove. "Yes please!" you walked over excitedly as he handed you the bread in a weaved basket. "And i left some herbs in there for you since I know you love tea.." he chuckled, you waved bye as you walked off out of the shop. Julian following you, but you didn't mind. "So did you have a good nights rest?" you looked up at him, tearing off pieces of bread and eating it. "If you call drinking and passing out a good rest...then yes i did!" he scratched the back of his neck, his red silky locks falling between his black gloved fingers. "You call that a good rest?" you tilted your head and raised a brow. "Getting a drink from The Black Raven is the best i may add..." he grinned devilishly as he led you to a garden a little ways from town, and you absentmindedly followed him. "What ever you say Jules.." you chuckled. "Jules?" julian smirked as he raised a red brow at you as he sat down on the edge of the fountain, you accompanied him. "Yes, it's my new nickname for you~" you teased and pulled out your bread and tore it in half, handing him a slice. You happily ate it, the bread seemed to crumble in your mouth. "This is good..but it would be better if it was with tea.." julian chuckled with his mouthful as he swallowed. "You know how i think julian.." you giggled as you finished your last bite of bread. "So, what do you do with your free time?" he sighed as he popped the last piece of bread into your mouth. "Well...i do my job..and...that's about it." you blushed and chuckled. "Wow...would you like to go to the bar with me tonight? maybe we can have some fun there." he chuckled as he looked at where you assumed this bar was at. "Uhm...i'm not drinking at all.." you muttered and looked away, you were a lightweight when it came to drinking..and you learned that the hard way. The wore part if you would get extremely cuddly. "You don't have to.." he chuckled and got up stretching. "Well, thank you for spending your time with me this morning.." he chuckled. "Your welcome...better than doing it alone?" you smiled. He frowned "You know...i could spend more time with you if you'd like." you parted your lips to say something but closed it when he beat you with his answer to the the question you never asked. "It won't be a burden.." he grinned, you returned the smile as you nodded, "That would be nice...meet me at the bakery?" you smiled, he nodded and began to walk off, but he paused and turned around. "I will meet you at the Black Raven!" ((I can't remember if it was Black or Rowdy Raven.)) You nodded and began to walk back intp the crowd of busy people, starting off your busy day.
Well, i hope you like it, it's a little long and i cut it off short because i have school, and i need my sleep to deal with all of the bullshit...fun, i know XD anyways, i should be making part 2 some time tomorrow. it will help me keep my sanity.
