The Arcana Characters X Reader

Sorry for slow updates!

You sat down on the floor, polishing your cards then you paused to hear familiar heavy footsteps coming from outside. You see thinking it's a new friend that you made, Muriel. you two met one early morning, and of course you said 'hi' and started a conversation. He seemed a little surprised about you talking to him, but eventually he began to talk with you. Now he goes over to your house once and awhile, mostly and night when the shop is closed. He told you he didn't want to come during the day cause he didn't want to bother you during your job. Which you thought was adorable, but he wasn't bothersome to you. It was great to have company.
You opened the door to see the familiar large figure, you tried to hug him but he's to large to wrap your arms around him. He chuckled and picked you up in a giant bear hug, then gently out you back down. "I have some tea ready! you want some?" you smiled up at him. He nodded "yes please..." he said in a calm, soothing voice. ((I don't know, I imagine him with a calm, deep soothing voice. but that's just me.)) He ducked down so he won't bump his head into the roof of the door way. He closed it behind him and followed you into the Reading room. You poured eachother some tea and sat down. "So how was your day?" you gently sipped the tea. "Nothing much...just a stroll through the woods..." he carefully picked up the small tea cup and sipped from it. "You?" he looked up at you, of course you couldn't tell from the giant hood he wears. "it was pretty good...it got even better when you showed up!" you smiled. Muriel felt his cheeks warm up. he couldn't help but smile a bit. "Can I see what your face looks like? I mean...I'm just curious." you looked up at him. Muriel was surprised by your question, no one has really asked him that question. "uhm...well..." he furrowed his brows in thought. "I-i mean...I guess..." he shrugged. And gently grabbed ahold of the rim of his hood. You leaned over the table
curious of what's under the hood. He pulled off the hood to reveal black hair, some covering his face. He has tannish skin and has strong, yet calm eyes. He looked down shyly and scratched the back of his neck. You felt your cheeks warm up and you giggled. "You look cute!" you hugged him tightly. He paused expecting a different reaction. He chuckled and patted your back. "Thanks....smol, bean." he blushed. You gasped "you out nicknames Giant bean!" you giggled. He smiled, he always loved your laugh, and your smile. "Yeah yeah..." he kissed your forehead.
