Trust - Muriel Part 1

You stared down at the coliseum down below you, the sudden roars of cheering people rumbled the giant stadium. The cheers almost carried the adrenaline rush and excitement once the famous fighter 'champion' was called out to fight, he was a big deal...but also a big guy. He was indeed intimidating but that never stopped you to try and talk to him, not at all. You almost felt bad for all the fighters, forced to fight and harm each others bodies till a fatal state. Your friends loved the fights, so they would always drag you to come along.

You were snapped out of your thoughts when a rush of screams and cheers rung out again, the echoes surrounding the stadium. You quickly held your ears to help block the noise, you peeked through arms to try and see the bottom of the giant area and noticed the large one threw his opponent across the ground, he lied limp on the ground. Loud horn hummed in your chest, alarming everyone that the fight is over, the giant roo was silent "AND THE CHAMPION WINS ONCE AGAIN!" Lucio, the count of vesuvia announced, standing up on his seat and holding his arms out. The eerie silence was broken, everyone was cheering again. You looked down at the champion, his shoulders were slumped and his head hung low. You got up before anyone else so you could get out quicker. "Come on come on.." you mumbled and rushed down the stairs.

Champion turned his head and noticed you rushing down the stairs, he sheathed his sword and walked out of the ring, leaving the limp body out in the sun. You made it to the entrance and everyone was just now getting up to leave the area. "Guess i'll meet my friends at our house..". You snuck passed some guards and down a hallway, the cheers of chatting and adrenaline pumped people were muffled and grew more distant the more you went down the hallway. "Muriel!" you whispered and turned a corner and smiled to see his headquarters. The area was quiet, and gloomy, but it was comforting. "You are gonna get in trouble you know." a thundering voice strummed from his chest. "I know I know..." you waved your hand and closed the wooden door behind you, "You really think i care?" you chuckled and pulled put you woven bag. "Thought so.." he rolled his dark eyes, his face seemed almost expressionless. "Let me see your wounds." you added and pulled out some bandages and more remedies that asra gave you. "I can fix myself.." muriel groaned and sighed, "I insist...now sit down.." you shot back, grinning smugly. Muriel seemed to smile a bit, he sat down on his giant wooden chair then finally stripped down some articles of armour. "Here." he mumbled and held out his arms, some small cuts were here and there, and his chest was still healing from his past injuries. "Hey they aren't as bad!" you smiled and pulled out some rags and dipped the tip of it in a clear liquidy substance, it had a strong odor to it. You dapped the cloth on the small cuts on his arm. Muriel hissed at the sudden sting and shook his head, "Thank you.." he mumbled and studied you as you were occupied with fixing his wounds. "Your welcome! I'll do anything if you need my help.." you smiled and finished cleaning the other cuts. You traded out the stitches for clean ones and you were finally finished. "You said you'd do anything right?" he tilted his head, long black hair gently brushing against his shoulder. You felt a small tint of blush warm up your cheeks but you paid no mind to it, hoping muriel did the same. "Well sure!" you shrugged, playing with your fingers. "Would you come home with me? " he paused and shook his head, waving his hands "N-not like that! I mean like..uhm..well, i meant like eat dinner with me...and...yeah." he looked away, furrowing his brows, scolding at himself. You snickered and nodded "of course!" he held his hand "Where do you want to eat?" you tilted your head curiously. The fighters face seem to lighten up with joy as he stood up, "i'll pick you up at your house..it'll be a surprise." he smiled slightly. You were happy to see muriel like this, means he was opening up to you. "Ok! I'll be waiting!" you smiled and walked out of the room, waving bye.

"...Wow..." muriel slumped on the chair, "I better get ready.." he stood up and walked out of the room to head to his little home, butterflies fluttering in his stomach.

HAHA! I have left you on a cliffhanger! And then the next chapter would be about Lucio.

So, I'm think I can have two short stories with two parts in them. And when the two stories are over... I'll make one giant one that I've been planning whilst I make these. So. I'm hoping this'll keep me updating other than staying quiet for a long time.
