Estefania's P.O.V.

I didn't know what had just happened. The last thing I saw was the room being swallowed up in pure whiteness. After that I felt a hard pound on my chest. Almost like 10 tons of rocks weighed heavily on my chest. I was thrown back by a force that I couldn't describe. I stayed there for a long time, not being able to catch my breath. The pain was too much and since I couldn't breath, all I managed to say was "Ow." I closed my eyes hoping that the pain would lessen if I did so. But it just stayed the same. When I opened my eyes, all I saw were blurred figures and lines. Distorted shapes. I felt people crowding around me but I didn't have the energy to get up. Not even if I tried. I tried hard to breath but oxygen still wasn't getting to me. I slowly closed my eyes again and I felt hands, arms grabbing hold of me and carrying me off the ground. In the situation that I was in, all I could do was fall asleep.

My words lingered in the air when I felt my hands' temperature drop drastically. After that, all I saw was white. I got thrown back somehow and felt lighter than usual. The lightness made me very dizzy. I stayed on the floor huddled in a ball just a few feet away from Estefania. I managed to open my eyes ever so slightly just to get a glimpse of her. And what I saw simply awed me. Her hair turned platinum-blonde. But she never had platinum-blonde hair . . .

That left me wondering what could have happened. Not long after, I felt arms lock onto me and lift me somewhere although I couldn't make out where. I couldn't keep myself awake - I barely had any energy for that matter - so I decided to drift off. And so I did.

I woke up feeling a bit sluggish. The weariness went away quite a bit and I could see a lot better. I gently sat up only to be greeted by two surprised yet relieved faces. "Hey," Andrea said to me softly.

"Hi," I replied. "How long was I out?" I asked curiously. The thought just hit me out of no where and I was getting a bit scared thinking about it.

"About a day," Eli replied.

"A day?" I asked surprised. I didn't think that I was hurt that bad. All of a sudden, a wave of pain arrived and forced its way into my head. "Ow." I held my head in attempt to ease it somehow.

"You should get some more rest. You look . . . you look bad," Eli said honestly. I thought I should too but I had to see what I had missed in the past day. Then another question came up.

"How long have you been waiting here?"

"We waited here all day. We even slept here, you know, just in case you wake up at night," Andrea said.

"Thank you," I said to them. I noticed Eli looking at my head, speechless. "What are you looking at?" I asked them getting a little worried.

"Your hair is . . . white."

I slowly woke up feeling much better than I did when I fell asleep. I was welcomed back by three concerned faces: Anna's, Phoenix's, and Jack's. "How are you?" Phoenix asked.

"Better, I guess."

"There is something I want you to see," Jack said to me rather worried. I felt puzzled and confused when Jack handed me a mirror. Then a horrible thought struck me. What if I had scars everywhere and bloody gashes? I was terrified with the thought and tried to push it aside. I took a deep breath and looked at myself in the mirror. What I saw scared me more than what I was thinking of. I was perfectly fine. The only thing that was out of place was my brunette hair.
