Phoenix's P.O.V.

All of my emotions rushed in. Sadness, happiness, madness, loneliness, but most of all, pain. Tears started flowing out of my eyes from how hurt I was. I started getting dizzy so I decided to close my eyes. The wound just seemed to get bigger and bigger. Then a thought struck me. What if she wasn't healing me. What if she was just spreading ice all over my body? As the thought came to me, my body began shivering from the cold. During the last few seconds of the process, my IBS went away and I was feeling much better. I felt cold hands lift from my warm body and instantly knew the process was done. I slowly opened my eyes and leaned my head forward. To my surprise, there was no wound. Not even a scratch. She did it.

"Estefania, you . . . you healed me," I managed to say. I was speechless. I turned my head to look at her and she stumbled back, trying to regain balance. Then I remembered.
Flashback
Me: Where are we?
Elsa: Pompeii.
Me: Why are we here?
Jack: We wanted to heal you by getting you to aunt Kestrel but then remembered that she lived in a volcano so we decided to heal you ourselves.
Me: But none of you have the ability to heal.
Jack: That's what you think.
Me: *looks at Elsa* Thank you, Elsa.
Elsa: It's the least a sister could do. *faints*

Jack ran to her and set her down on the floor. If she became weary with just healing me, she could possibly die bringing her mother back to life. She would have to rest. But it would take about a day for her to recover completely. We don't have a day. And even then, she would still be weak enough to bring Elsa back. I didn't want to hurt her, but if she loved her mother so much, she would sacrifice her life for her. I walked toward the two of them.

"She's weak. I don't think she can do it," Jack said. I looked at her and saw that her eyes were closing and her body was relaxing. She was very weak. I looked over at Elsa and saw that her body was almost completely covered in the black sand. I once again looked up and saw the moon. Shining almost right above us. It was a life or death situation. One stays and the other goes. But who will be willing to sacrifice their life for the other?
