Estefania's P.O.V.

I saw that aunt Phoenix, my papa, and Black got into a fight. And a horrid one at that. Papa used his ice magic while aunty Phi Phi used her dark magic and fire. I hid behind my mother to avoid getting hurt. When suddenly, something grabbed me by the leg.

It kept pulling me and little by little, started draining the energy from me. I kept blasting the black hand with my ice until all of my energy was out. I gave up all hope. I just stayed in place until the hands stopped pulling me. It dragged me a fair distance away from my parents. I felt something, or someone, creep up to me from behind.

"Aren't you a little ray of sunshine?" Black asked. I had lost most of my energy but I could still struggle to get out.

"Let me go!" I demanded. All that did was tighten me some more. I could barely breathe in those conditions. But I had to stay afloat. This was no time to go all weakling and faint in front of my parents. Inside the hand, I could feel my chest hardly expanding, almost as if the ropes were swallowing me whole like a boa constrictor.

"Come to me, or I kill her," Black threatened. I didn't want to be killed, but I didn't want my mom to die either. I would never forgive myself if I let her take my place. No. I will sacrifice my life for her. I must. But instead, my mother volunteered to take my place. "Yes. Now I've got you," he said. He aimed an arrow at my mother's heart while I just stared. Just stared at my own mother die before me. Before my very own eyes. All of a sudden, I saw Black fall to the ground with a black arrow in his own chest. I cried of relief and happiness and ran to my mother.

"Mama! I love you and I will never leave again. I'm sorry for what I said to you," I said while tackling her to a hug. She hugged me back and cried a little too. I pulled away and looked at her. Her beautiful snowy blue eyes. But instead of happiness, I saw sadness and worry in her eyes. She stood at my side as if she was protecting me from something. But Pitch was gone and there was nothing else to protect me from. That was when, for the very first time, I saw my mother fall.

Elsa's P.O.V.

Pitch aimed an arrow at me and I closed my eyes and, telepathically, said my goodbyes. To Phoenix, to Jack, to Anna, but most importantly, to Estefania. I could sense her crying now, hoping that I would live a little longer so that we could have some more time together. Out of nowhere, I heard a blast. Not really a blast, but a slice. I opened my eyes and saw Pitch on the floor with an arrow in his chest. I looked at Estefania and saw her running to me like her life depended on it. I knelt down just as she reached me and introduced her to a hug. "Mama! I love you and I will never leave again. I'm sorry for what I said to you." I cried of happiness and tried, unsuccessfully, to sniff back a few. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Pitch. Holding up his arrow. Aiming at Estefania.

As soon as she pulled away, I stood beside her, with my feet planted on the ground, standing tall in front of her. In my mind, I whispered a few words before the arrow hit. Dedicated to Estefania.

I love you . . .
