(Harry's POV) *SURPRISE*

I felt so bad for Melina, she looked so stressed when she came home and the fact that there was flour everywhere probably didn't help. I was planning on making us a nice dinner, and then we could go shopping for some clothes for myself. Surprisingly I still have money from when the boys and I were still a band. All the money was left in there, minus the money that had to be used for my lawyer and some other things as well. My card still worked, and everything!

I really liked Melina, and that's why I wanted to pay for lunch, but she beat me to it. I wondered if she noticed how attached I was to her already. Missing her when she's at work, always kissing her cheek, hugging her. I don't know if the hints I'm leaving are too subtle, but I don't want to go over board like I did in the beginning. What the actual fück was I thinking giving her a love bite! Ugh I'm the stupidest person in the world!

All these thoughts went through my mind while trying to cook something that would taste remotely good for dinner. I was a little upset that Melina came home and hour and a half later than she told me, but she must have a big project for her to have to do some over-time.

I decided to make a steak stir fry, with baked potatoes. That should taste good right? She should like that right? God I'm so whipped. I sighed to myself and went out into the living room to check if Melina was okay. I saw her head a brown hair peeking above the arm of the couch, and I went around the front. Though when I saw her, she was dead asleep. I smiled, I'm better off not waking her up and bothering her. I bent down, and kissed her forehead, walking away letting her sleep until dinner was just about ready.

It was a little less an hour that dinner was finally done cooking. I scooped some of the stir fry onto 2 plates, and placed one baked potato on each plate, pouring some Sprite into a glass for Melina, and some Pepsi for myself. I set the table placing everything in its correct sleep, before going into the living area and waking up Melina.

"Melina." I cooed, shaking her slightly. She groaned and turned the other way, her back facing me. I chuckled and turned her back over, kissing her forehead again, and poking her sides until she woke up with a slight smile on her face.

"What Harry?" she asked clearly still really tired.

"Dinner's ready babe." I smiled, covering up my embarrassment of calling her 'babe'. She closed her eyes, then reopened them, widening her eyes to clear her vision.

"Uh, What-What did you make?" she stuttered with a yawn.

"Steak stir fry with baked potatoes." I told her, she nodded and sat up scratching her head and got up, stretching. I walked ahead, and pulled out her chair, and pushing her in when she sat down. I sat down in my own chair, waiting for her to start eating. I needed to see if she liked what I cook, so I could eat with an easy stomach.

She looked at me funny then shrugged taking a fork full of the food, blowing on it, and placing it in her mouth and chewed. She smiled indicating she liked it and I sighed in relief. I took a forkful and stuffed it in my mouth, enjoying the food I managed to cook. Melina got up suddenly, making me nervous.

"Just getting some butter and salt for the potato Harry, don't worry." she soothed, and I nodded. Stupid Harry, why else would she be getting up?

"To leave you." spoke my mind

"Shut up." I spoke back.

I refocused myself, and continued eating. Dinner was silent, not that I minded though. It was comfortable. "We can go shopping after we clean up. If that's okay with you." Melina offered.
