Lotor, at the end of season 4, proposes a 'chat' with the rebels. My follow-up would be Lotor becoming a key part of the resistance and taking back the Galra empire from his father, creating a new alliance with Allura and learning just how truly sick and twisted his parents truly are. He creates a new empire as a proper emperor.
