Sleeper

32 7 2

I sleep by the river, but the rocks disturb the flow,

I sleep by the fire hoping to feel warmth, but the snow buries me in too deep,

I sleep by the gliding wind, but I find myself on the ground by force and inconsistency,

I sleep by the eudrite stars, but the sun rises too bright and sharp,

I sleep by the ice for logic and reasonings, but light melts it away,

I sleep by the sleep(er), but I need to and have to wake up
