Ignorance Is Bliss

Ignorance is bliss

When I give you a delicate kiss

The void I feel

The criticism I received

So long ago

The family that I never got to see,

Is all gone when I'm with you

I waited all this time

To give you my love

I took you to dinner

And still,

You didn't see more of me

Like I did with you

I still share my charms

Holding you in my arms

You turned away and cried

Asking why I tease you

But you should already know

That I love you so!

I always give you love

And you push me away

Goodness you're such a [insert]!

But are strings will definitely tie

Ignorance is bliss

You live a sweet lie

You know they will never love you

No way, no how

But I still hope and stay positive

I took them to dinner

Dragged them to my home

Tied them in a chair

In a dull, dark basement

They wake up in fear and unfamiliarity

They cry and beg me for help

When I am here to save them

Why won't they understand?

I may treat them like a stray

I know they'll call the police if they get away

It's ironic that the officer is across the street

All I have to do is be discreet

I told his family they're living with me

They screamed for escape

Their family laughed at his silly game

They left him be

They're schizophrenic

But I still love them!

Ignorance is bliss

When you're in love
