Chapter 12: February 8 - Wednesday Morning

The next day in homeroom the principal makes an announcement over the loud speaker, "As most of you probably all know already, yesterday we lost four students, now lets have a moment of silence for these students." There's a brief silence throughout Brick Memorial High School, "Ok thank you."

"I heard Brian Carter killed those boys." Heather says as she sits back down.

"Yeah, Hammer's girlfriend is so upset, it's a shame well I guess Karma's a bitch, that's what Hammer gets for cheating on his girlfriend. I wonder if they convicted Brian yet?" Savannah sits and applies lipstick.

Sam over hears the girls talking about Brian and gets up and snaps at them, "Brian didn't kill them!"

"Um... yes he did, why would he run away from the murder scene?" Heather snapped back.

"It was Asmodeus! He kills lustful people!"

Heather rolls her eyes, "What is that some mythological character? If you're going to try to prove someone innocent, don't make up suspects, especially fictional suspects!"

"I'm not making him up, Heather, he's a serial killer and he kills lustful people."

"What makes you think the boys that died were lustful, suppose they were all virgins, how do you know about their sex life?"

"I know, Asmodeus told me, he says he kills lustful people and he can't kill virgins."

"Yeah ok, you're just making crap up, because no guy would ever screw you, so you make up stories to scare all the girls who are not virgins like you, I bet you have something to do with Daniella Stone's disappearance, I wouldn't be surprised if you killed her." She sees Sam get up and leave the room, "Yeah go kill yourself loser!"

Frank sees Sam standing outside upset as he's sweeping the floor. Frank is known as the friendly school janitor, he's an old man who is bald and wears glasses, "What's the matter honey?"

Sam looks down, "Oh, Frank, people think, Brian Carter killed those boys, but I know it was Asmodeus!"

Frank puts down his broom, "You say Asmodeus, Demon of Lust?"

Sam looks over at Frank, "Yeah, why you think I'm crazy?"

"Heck no! I know all about Lucifer and the six demons that combine to make him, I read up on all the murders that been happening lately, and all victims had a pentagram on them with the word "Lust" under it."

"Yeah, no one believes me, but my friend Sara Carter, Brian's older sister. I don't know what to do, he's immortal and he tells me everyone he kills."

Frank puts his hands on his hips, "Don't tell me you were the one who awoken him!" He sees Sam look down "It's ok, I forgive you, and you didn't know it get this bad didn't you?"

Sam starts to cry, "I just wanted Daniella Stone dead so I could be with Josh Hue! I didn't want all these people to die and he said more people will die."

"Yes, he consumes the souls of the victims after he's done killing them, the only way to survive is not to be lustful, but who's going to believe that there is a demon lurking around?"

"No one that's the problem, the only way the lustful will survive is if they leave Brick, but they won't and if he kills enough of them, he'll be able to raise the other demons and everyone will be doomed and Lucifer will take over the world."

"You know the Maya Calendar could be right maybe the world will end by December 21, 2012. It's only February and Asmodeus already consumed ten people within five days."

"Hey Frank, please don't tell anyone Daniella is dead, I heard her father is heartbroken over this."

Frank puts his hand on Sam's shoulder, "Sure, but promise me, you won't raise anymore demons ok?"
