Your redhead emerged from the dorm stopping in front of Perona.

That was all you needed.

Your body began to move on its own while your brain went into overdrive.

"F/N wait." Killer grabbed your wrist.

"Don't tell me what to do." You snapped not bothering to turn your rage filled stare away from the couple in the parking lot.

"You don't understand the situation." He said softly.

"He's been keeping this from me." You tugged your hand away from the blond.

He didn't respond. He couldn't. It was true Kid had been keeping it from you. You were just too shocked and upset to realize that there may have been a good reason. On the other hand, had you known you would have been far less angry and at least a tad bit understanding.

You had the capacity to act and think like a rational adult, however catching the pinkette's voice calling your boyfriend "Red" sent all of that out the window as you marched toward them.

Kid turned, eyes widening as you approached hand already wound back.

*SLAP*

The redhead swayed with the impact of your hand. Ignoring Perona's gasp you waited for him to bring his eyes back to you.

"Come talk to me when you're done being stupid and you..." You turned back to his ex, "Call him Red one more time. I have no problem slapping a pregnant woman."

With that you stormed into the building. Guilt washed over you instantly. Maybe you went a bit too far and you probably shouldn't hit your boyfriend.

Oh god.

You needed to get to your room.

"F/N!" Your actual name leaving Kid's lips always made you shiver because it was so rare, even this time with a hint of despair clinging to it.

His footfalls sped up and you knew you wouldn't make it to your room in time to shut him out. In fact it was mere seconds before his arms were wrapping around your torso lifting you off the floor and pinning your arms to your sides. He continued toward your room.

"I wasn't kidding." You grunted.

"I know. Just let me explain." He murmured, "I won't put you down until you agree. You're tiny I could do this forever." You could hear the smirk in his voice.

Only Kid would be in trouble and still want to poke the bear.

"Fine." You sighed.

He set you down and allowed you unlock your door.

"Before you start I want you to know why I'm so mad. I don't understand why you didn't tell me. Stuff like this is important. You were acting strange and secretive, I thought I did something or worse that there was someone else. Not that knocking up your ex is ideal but that clearly happened before me."

He watched you sit on the coffee table, a deep frown etched into his features.

"I'm sorry for not talking to you first." He rubbed his neck and slouched into the futon in front of you, "The whole thing is a mess and I wasn't sure how you'd react since we just started dating. The truth is she is saying this kid is mine - but she was cheating on me for months before I ended things."

"How far along is she?" You tried to keep an even tone.

"Almost five months." He sighed.

"Ugh. So that means Law's hat is in the ring. Has she told the other guys or is she determined to pin this on you?"

"The latter." He muttered.

"Wait didn't you say she was drunk at New Year's?"

"Yeah... Not the best start to motherhood I guess." He ran his right hand through his messy red locks.

"Are you going to do a test?" You watched his face twist knowing there was more bad news.

"We can't until the kid is born." He sighed, "It's too risky to do it prenatal."

Great. So you had to wait four more months.

"F/N." His voice faltered, "I understand if you want to walk away from this. Our relationship is still new and this isn't something you need to deal with."

"Seriously, don't be stupid. Some things are just out of our control. I'd be a pretty shitty person to dump you just because I didn't want to deal with it." You stood and stepped between his knees pulling his head into your chest, "I'm not walking away from you. Please just don't keep things from me, especially when you need support."

His arms snaked around your waist as he murmured more apologies into your skin. You ran your fingers through his hair and planted a kiss on his scalp before resting your cheek on top of his head.

"I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have slapped you." You sighed, "But I wasn't kidding I will slap that bitch if she calls you that again."

A laugh rumbled through him as he pulled you down into his lap.

"I deserved it so I'll let it slid this one time." He pressed his lips to yours, "I'd also love to see that."

"You're terrible." You cuddled into him glad to finally have a normal moment.

"Are you gonna tell him?" He asked softly.

"Well, he should know. If your paternity test is negative he should do one too." You sighed.

You and Law hadn't seen much of each other since your relationship with Kid started. He wasn't in a place where he wanted to hear about it much less look at it. The raven rounded the corner into the coffee shop opening his long slender arms to greet you.

"Hey F/N-ya, you had something you wanted to talk about?" He guided you toward a corner table.

"I'm guessing you haven't heard from or seen Perona lately?" He cocked his head at your question.

"Why would I?"

You sighed, "Well, she's about five months pregnant."

The color drained from his face as he counted the past months.

"Shit."
