Days passed and the marriage between Prince Ka Suo and Princess Yan Da happened. Most are happy because it really meant that the war between the two tribes are over.
The citizens of the fire tribe are the happiest ones. They've always wanted to interact with the other tribes. Yet they knew that execution was waiting for them if they ever did so. However, now that the two tribes are allies they can now freely make friends with the other tribes.
"Long live the Queen! Long live the King!" they shouted. That's right. That same day, Ka Suo and Yan Da were crowned as the King and Queen of the Ice Tribe.
Yan Da smiled, looking at her people. Happy to finally be able to fulfill one of her goals. To break the barrier between her tribe and the others. She knew that her own people had been longing to interact with the people of other tribes. She had heard their conversations, their wishes and hopes. Finally, they're free to do that now.
After their wedding, a three-day celebration was held. In those days, the Ice Palace was truly alive. It was filled with laughter and smiles. For once, all of the tribes were gathered and happily mingling with each other. Even the tribe leaders were gathered together, happily having a conversation with each other like. Yes, even King Huo Yi and the former Ice King and Ice Queen was in the group.

Shi sighed, looking at his Ge and Yan Da. The two looked really happy. Yan Da, his heart whispered. She looked amazingly beautiful in her white dress.
He winched, feeling his heart clenched painfully.
"Shi?"
"Mother."
"Are you alright?" Lotus asked, looking at him worriedly. She had noticed that his son's eyes are dimmer these days. He also rarely smiles nowadays.
Shi meet his mother's gaze, smiling. That didn't comfort Lotus at all. His smile is forced and empty. "Shi, if there's something wrong you know that you can always tell me right?"
"I know mother but I'm fine. I'll see you later." He said, leaving the throne room.

Outside...
Shi closed his eyes, letting the cold wind comfort him. He felt like crying but he doesn't want to. So, instead he took deep breaths to calm himself.
"Prince Shi?" someone called out, making him open his eyes and focused them on the one who called him. In front of him, is the envoy guardian who's looking at him worriedly.
"Li Luo, what are you doing here?"
"Just breathing some fresh air. How about you? You don't look well Prince Shi."
Shi avoided her gaze. " I'm fine. I just needed some fresh air too."
The envoy guardian didn't believe him but she let it slide. "Want to have a drink with me?"
"Huh?" Shi asked, looking at her in surprise. Li Luo just smiled, showing him the bottle of wine.
"Come on. I can see that you're upset about something. So..."
Shi was a bit hesitant but then he nodded. "Where to?"
"Uhm... how about there." Li Luo said, pointing at the bridge. Shi smiled, agreeing.
In the bridge...
The two are now seated on its wall. Li Luo took a drink first before giving the bottle to Shi who drink the wine eagerly. The envoy guardian laughed, seeing his enthusiasm to get drunk.
"Ya, don't drink too much. Or you'll have a massive headache tomorrow. Our wine is different from the ones you have here you know."
"I don't care. I just want to forget even if it's just for a while."
Li Luo sighed, looking at the wide horizon in front of them. "Is it because of your Ge's marriage?"
"You don't seem upset," Shi countered. Li Luo smiled, remembering her conversation with Yan Da and Ka Suo.
"I am but I understand why they did it." She told him.
Shi frowned, looking at the envoy guardian. Noticing his look, she continued. "They're doing this for the people. Princ- Queen Yan Da told me that she had enough of the war, of all the bloodshed and everything that had came with it. Ka Suo told me the same. "
She then stopped, letting silence engulfed them for a while.
"At first, I had my doubts but I then saw the honesty and determination in their eyes. It hurt but slowly, I came to accept their decision."
Shi's eyes softened in understanding. He then let out a small smile. "My brother is lucky to have someone like you by his side."
Li Luo smiled," He's a good man and will be a great King. I'm glad to serve and stand by him until the day that I die."
Shi just smiled, taking another drink. I am too. Even if it hurts, I'll always stand by Yan Da no matter what.
I'll always protect you, Yan Da, my one and only queen.
