"Where is he!?"

"Inside, King Ka Suo. The Queen is with him." Huang Tuo said.

Ka Suo immediately entered the room. Followed by Li Luo and Huang Tuo. The three were surprised though when they saw that no one was there.

The king looked at the healer, questioningly.

"They were just here."

"Then why aren't they here?"

"Ka Suo," Li Luo said, going to the distressed King. "Relax. Yan Da must have had a good reason why she left with Xiao Yu undetected. You know how she is."

Ka Suo sighed, trying to calm himself. His Queen really has the knack for making his heart beat hard in worry. "You're right."

Night came but Yan Da and Xiao Yu haven't come back yet. The trio waiting for their return are becoming more restless by the second.

"Where are they?" Ka Suo said, pacing back and forth in worry.

Li Luo and Huang Tuo looked at each other. Not really sure what to tell him. They too are really worried about the queen and the young prince.

"Your Majesty! I can see them!" A soldier suddenly announced. Alerting the trio.

The three the hurriedly went to the balcony. In the bridge, the three saw Yan Da and Xiao Yu being carried by Shi. The mother and child are both unconscious.

Ka Suo's heart clenched in worry. Quickly moving to meet his brother.

"Shi!" he called out.

"Ge!" Shi answered back, smiling. When Ka Suo was close enough, he quickly passed Yan Da and Xiao Yu to him.

"Shi, what happened to them?" Ka Suo asked, studying the duo. "Shi?" he repeated. Not getting any answer he looked at his brother, only to find him unconscious on the cold floor.

"SHI!"

In a room...

Huang Tuo is now checking on the trio. While Ka Suo and Li Luo are on the sides waiting for his diagnosis.

"How are they?"

"They're all fine. Just exhausted. Whatever, Queen Yan Da did. It had saved Prince Xiao Yu's life. There was no trace of his illness at all. He's totally cured."

Hearing that, Li Luo and Ka Suo sighed in relief. They were really scared for a moment there. Li Luo then stood up, studying the sleeping prince.

"Is it me or did Prince Xiao Yu's appearance changed?"

"Now, that you mention it. He looked like the combination of Queen Yan Da and Prince Shi." Realizing what he said. He quickly apologized. "I'm sorry, Your Highness that was tactless of me."

"It's fine. You two may leave. I know that you're both tired. Thank you for being with me until now."

"It's no bother, King Ka Suo. Good night." Said Huang Tuo, bowing and leaving the room.

"Good night, my king," Li Luo said after, kissing him softly on the lips. Ka Suo smiled, returning the kiss.

"Good night."

When she's gone, Ka Suo focused his gaze on the sleeping trio. First, on Xiao Yu who indeed look like the miniature combo version of his brother and his wife.

Shi ... Yan Da... what exactly did you do to save him that brought you to this state?

One more look and he temporarily left the trio.

Quarter to twelve A.M.

Yan Da felt her body heat up, waking her. With a gasp, she opened her eyes. The room was quite dark so using her powers she lit up some candles.

In a flash, she was beside her son checking him. Seeing that there's nothing wrong and that he's perfectly fine, she let out a soft relieved laugh. She then kissed the toddler on the forehead lovingly.

My little Xiao Yu. My little Prince. I'm so glad that your fine. I love you.

After a while, she finally noticed the other person sleeping beside her son.

Ying Kong Shi! Yan Da then swiftly went to the sleeping prince side. Why is he unconscious? Looking at her mate's face, she felt her heart throb in longing. Slowly, she lifted her hand up cupping the face of her beloved.

"Ying Kong Shi." she whispered, caressing the soft skin beneath her palm. "I miss you. I'm sorry for pushing you away."

Yan Da bit her lip, trying not to cry. She truly missed him. The pasts months, she tried her best not to think of him. She even avoided him in order for her to not to be distracted in doing her responsibilities. However, when night falls she thought of him. Even her dreams were filled of him.

Controlled by her feelings, she lied down beside Shi. Putting her head on his chest. Letting the younger Ice Prince's heartbeat lull her back to sleep.

Unknown to her, a pair of eyes was watching her since she woke up.

Ka Suo was on the balcony when she woke up so she didn't see him. Witnessing his queen's actions, there's no doubt in his mind that she loves his brother dearly.
