As I entered the room I realized I was the first student here. I sighed in relief and walked to my desk. There was still a good four minutes till the late bell and I knew most of the kids wouldn't be here till then. I sat down and dropped my bag on the floor by my desk. Hearing the door open I looked up only to see a raging Sean. My eyes widened and I scooted my chair back in case I had to bolt. "You!" He sneered. I quickly stood up.

"What's wrong?" I asked taking a small step back.

"You attacked her!" He ran at me, his eyes were bloodshot red and all those sweet boyish looks disappeared. I turned around and began to flee for my life. I ran through the desk trying to escape the crazed Sean but realized he was cornering me quickly. I climbed over a desk and ran down the aisle heading for the door. Sean jumped over two desk and blocked me.

"Sean leave me alone! She started it and it's not like I could control it! It just happened!" I cried backing away slowly. He quickly approached me and raised his fist. I closed my eyes and cowered back waiting for the impact. I heard skin hit skin but didn't feel the blow. I opened my eyes and gasped at the sight. Sterling was standing in front of me breathing extremely hard. With every inhale his back muscles flexed. Sean laid on the ground wiping his nose. Cursing he stood up.

"Get out of my way! You know the rules." Sean growled.

"As do you. She on the other hand doesn't. She's protected by the rules just as much as Marcy if not more." Sterling replied in a throaty growl. I knew they were trying to communicate without telling me too much but I couldn't help but wonder what on earth they're talking about. Sean growled, making me flinch, then left the room fuming. The bell rang and all the students came rushing in. "Are you okay?" He asked turning to me. He wore dark shades as usual, hiding those eyes I desperately wanted to see.

"I'm confused." I admitted. He thought something over then nodded.

"I'll explain when the time is right." Before I could reply or ask how he got here he had already left the class. The other students looked at me with confusion. I ignored them and sat down. Class passed by slowly as I found myself constantly looking to the door for any signs of an angry Sean's return. Surprisingly, he never did return to class. As the bell rang I headed to the cafeteria. I wasn't all that hungry so I decided to grab a water. As I did I realized half the school was giving me dirty glances while the other half watched me with curious eyes. Feeling as if a spotlight was following me I headed for the picnic areas outside the school.

When I approached them I realized I made a mistake. Tyler sat there talking with some of his teammates. Immediately I stopped and headed in the opposite direction. "Skylar!" That voice shouted. I pretended not to hear and kept walking. "Hey, Skylar." A hand grabbed my shoulder causing me to freeze. Tyler stood there with a sad expression. I sighed.

"What do you want Tyler?" I asked and kept walking.

"I wanted to say I'm sorry." I stopped and turned to him.

"For what?" I asked.

"For yesterday. I was acting crazy and I'm sorry I tore your shirt. Here take this and buy you another one." He pulled his wallet out and grabbed a twenty.

"I don't need your money Tyler." I said pushing his hand away. "I already went and got more shirts to replace it." With this information his face turned into a mask with no emotion.

"Who payed for it?" He asked.

"What do you mean?"

"You don't have a job. Where did you get the money?" My eyebrows scrunched up with confusion. Was he saying that I stole the money or something?
