A Night To Remember or A Night To Forget? {Forth&Beam}

Chapter 18

Beep Beep Beep

That was the only sound that I could hear when my brain woke up. I opened my eyes, worse mistake I've ever made. All I saw was a flash of white light, Which made me closed my eyes tightly. But that too was a mistake, for my left eye is in a lot of pain because of it. But my eye pain definitely cannot compare to the massive headache that I have right now. It feels like I was hit by a ten and ton bus.

"W-Water." I said with a raspy voice, and my eyes still closed. My throat feels like I went on a bender, and decided to chug a keg full of sand.

"Beam, Beam sweetly can you hear me?

"Mama?" Why is my mother here? I opened my eyes again, this time slowly, but the lights in the room still danced around my retina. "Mmmm" I said looking away, and closing my eyes.

"Turn off the lights Ming." I heard Pha saw. Wait Pha? Ming? Even my mother? What is going on? Why are all of them here?

"Water." I said again, this time it came out much clearer. I opened my eyes again, this time knowing that the lights were off in the room. When I opened my eyes, and they adjusted. I saw my mama and papa standing over me, with worried faces. I looked around the room, and saw Forth coming to me with a glass of water.

"Here you go Beam." He said handing my the glass of water with out looking at me. 'That's odd', but I didn't pay any mind to it, all I wanted was the water.

"How do you feel?" My father asked. I took the glass from Forth, and put it to my head. I didn't take it away, till all the contents were poured completely down my throat.

"Can I have some more please?" Forth took the glass and went to the pitcher that was on the counter, on the other side of the room. He walked back over to me, and handed me the glass of water. Still he did not look at me. When I was done, I held the glass in my hands; and looked around the room. Everyone was just staring at me, they all had dark circles around their eyes. It also looked like they all have been crying.

"Beam sweetheart, I'm so happy that your awake. Are you ok? How do you feel? My mother asked me, as she sat next to me on the bed, and brought me into her arms.

"I'm, I'm really confused, why am I in the hospital? I looked into my mother's eyes, when she put me at arms length.

"You... you don't remember anything from last night?" She asked me, with concern laced in her voice.

"Uhmm." I thought for a moment. "I remember that I wanted to go out after that exam... and I did. I went to the pub, wait?" I shock my head to try and remember. "No, I went to that new club, and I had a few drinks. And... and." They all looked at me with intensity "And then nothing. I don't remember what happened after that."

"It's ok son, don't push yourself." My father said, patting my shoulder.

"I'm gonna get the doctor." Pha said as he ran out the room.

When pha was out of the room. I took that opportunity to look around the room at everyone again. Starting with N'Yo who was standing next to the door Pha just ran out of. He looked at me, then the floor became really interesting to him. I don't understand why he couldn't look at me. I moved my eyes to Kit, who was being help by N'Ming. Kit looked at me, and tried to give me a smile. But he failed miserably. 'What's up with everyone?'

"Kit I'm ok man, don't worry." I said smiling at him, I looked at my mother. "Did I get into a car accident or something, after leaving the club? Is that why I and everyone is here?" I asked looking at both my mother and father.

"No sweetheart, you did not drive last night." My mother said holding my hands.

"Ok so that's good, I would have been pretty mad at myself if I had driven while under the influence." I looked past my mother, then past my father who was behind her. My eyes rest on my boyfriend, who was standing at the foot of my bed. "Forth." I called him, but he did not answer or even look up at me. "Forth." I called him again, this time a lot louder. He flinched, and slowly lifted his head. But it still was not enough for me to see his face.

My eyes open wide, when I saw that my Forth had tears streaming down his chin. "Forth why... why are you crying?"

"Beam I'm... sorry." He said in a shaky voice, as he still held his face pointed at the ground.

Yes I know, it's been a week since my last update. I'm sorry, guess I didn't know how to start this chapter. I've started and then stopped, then started again. It's like I was on the rinse abs repeat cycle. I hope this chapter is ok, still not sure about it. Anyway, I'm back won't take that long to update this story again. I love you guys too much, to do that.
