A Night To Remember or A Night To Forget? {Forth&Beam}

Chapter one

I walked out of class with my two best friends behind me. "Slow down Beam."

"Kit I'm ready to get out of this god forsaken building. That exam was a killer." I said, as we walked towards the elevators.

"It wasn't that bad Beam."

"Pha unlike you, not everyone has a built in computer in their brain. I thought that my head was going to explode."

"He's right Pha, that exam was extremely hard." Said Kit

We stepped out of the elevator and made our way to the exit.

"Hey you guys want to go out for some drinks tonight?" I asked them as we stepped out into the warmth of the sun.

"No sorry, Yo and I already have plans for tonight." Pha said with a big smile on his face.

"Ok. What about you Kit?" I said  with a hopeful smile on my face

"Nah, I think I'm just going to go home and sleep the whole weekend. This week is one that I would like to put far behind me."

"Aww come on Kit, your still young, live a little. I said pleading with him.

"No, not tonight Beam, I could barely keep my eyes open during that damn exam."

"Ok fine, be that way." I was none to happy that both my best friends would be ditching me on a night that I could really use them.

"Why don't you ask Forth? After all. He is your boyfriend." Pha said looking at his watch. "Oh crap guys I have to go, I'm supposed to be picking Yo up right now."

"Ok, see you later." Kit and I said after him

Pha ran to his car, and jumped in, then he sped off. "He sure does not like to make little Wayo wait." Kit said smiling. Anyway Beam, speedy Gonzalez has a point. Why don't you ask Forth to go with you?"

"I text him before I asked you guys, but he hasn't replied, I think he's still in class."

"Ok then just wait, I'm sure he'll text or call you when he's done with his class. Come on, let me drop you off. I'm ready for that date I got with my amazing bed."

Kit dropped me off at my dormitory, we said our good buys; then I made my way to my room. I unlock my door, took my shoes off, and dropped my bag right there at the door next to my shoes.

'Maybe I should just be like Kit, and get some much need rest.' I thought to myself. "But I can't, not after the week I've had. I definitely need some drinks in me, to help release all of the stress that I have built up."

My phone rang, when I looked at the screen, I smiled seeing that it was a call from my boyfriend.

Hey Forth.

Hey baby, sorry I just got out of class.

It's fine, how are you?

I'm doing much better now that I get to hear your voice.

All ways saying cheesy things. I'm not going to lie, my face was blushing like crazy, but I'm not about to tell him that.

Ohh yeah, about tonight. I'm sorry baby, but I won't make it. Remember that project I told you about? Well Knot, Mo, and I need to get it done ASAP.

Aww but Forth, it's Friday can't you guys do it some other time?  

I'm sorry baby but we still have a whole bunch of stuff to build, and a whole lot more research to get done. We have to try and get as much of it done tonight and tomorrow. Because the professor said that he will be looking them over on Monday. I am really said to hear him say that. I really wanted him to come out with me tonight.

If we get a good portion of it done tonight, I will try my best to come see you at the pub.

First my best friends dump me, now even my own boyfriend is going to leave me hanging.

Baby don't say that. I really wanted to go with you, but right now I have no other choice. We have to get this done.

Yes I know. We are university students after all. Well I'll probably be at the pub pretty late, so if you get it done. Just come by and see me.

Ok, I will. I know you can, but make sure you don't drink to much, and don't leave your drinks unattended. I love you baby.

I love you too babe, and no promises about the drinking. I said, hanging up the phone, before he could scold me.

Bea..

After putting my phone to charge, I took a shower. I really wanted Forth to go out with me tonight. But being a medical student, no one knows the hardship of having projects after projects that need to get done better than me.

Getting out of the shower I got dressed, deciding to were the cologne that Forth bought me for my birthday. I really love the sent, it was manly, but not overpowering. I accidentally let slip to Forth that I am in love with his cologne, I told him that I wanted it. But he wouldn't tell me what brand  it is, and where he bought it. He told me that whenever I wanted to smell it, I should just go and cuddle up with him. So that is exactly what I do.

I give myself a once over in the mirror, and then head out the door. Even if it's by myself, I'm pretty excited to be going out tonight, I haven't been out in a while.

On my way to the pub, I had a change of heart. I've been hearing people talk about this new club that open a few months ago, that I've been mean to check out. What better night than tonight. It's called "The Scene" and it's about 45 minutes from the university, so I wouldn't be going out of my way.

When I finally pulled up to the club, it was already after 8, and I was ready to get the show started. Before I went into the club, I text Forth to let him know where I was. He text me back instantly telling me to be careful with drinking and this and that. Man I swear he acts more like my mom and not my boyfriend sometimes.
