"Sorry for what Forth?" I sat up more in my bed, and he looked away from me. I looked at my parents. "Ok someone needs to tell me what is going on right now." I said, saying the last part a little louder than I had to.
"Beam son-" my father was cut of when Pha came back into the room, with the doctor right behind him.
"Mr. Baramee, good afternoon. My name is doctor Kim. I am happy see that you are awake, and I know that I am not the only one. Please let me run some test on you, then everything will be explained to you." Doctor Kim said, as she walked over to me. She took out a flashlight from her lab coat.
"Ok, everything looks to be in order. You will be fine in no time. Your memory loss is completely normal, it is a side effect of the drugs that were given to you last night. Your memories when come back in no-"
"What!" I said, or more like shouted in her face. "Drugs? What type of drugs? I asked, as I looked around the room.
"Flunitrazepan and hydroxybutyric GHB." She said, giving me a sad look.
"What!" I shouted again. "Roofies and ecstasy? I was given date... date rape drugs?" I asked her, I looked at my parents. My mother was in tears, and my father is trying to console her. "How could this have happened?"
"Someone spiked your drink." I looked at her with wide eyes, shaking my head. I cannot believe what I am hearing.
"How could that happen? I would never leave my drink unattended." I ran my hand through my hair. 'Was I rapped? Have I been? I mean I don't feel any pain down there. Or maybe they have me on some strong medicine? But then I would still feel something right? Oh my god please don't say that I have been rapped.' I thought to myself for a few minutes, trying to gather my thoughts. "Doctor, was I ra-rapped?
She smiled at me. Wait she smiled at me? At a time like this why would she smile? "No Mr. Baramee. You were not rapped. He got to you, before they could do what they planned." I looked to where her index finger was pointing, it was pointing to my Forth.
"Forth you saved me? Forth... Forth, please look at me." I said as I sobbed, "why won't my boyfriend look at me?" After I choked out that sentence in sobs, Forth ran to my bed side.
"Beam, I'm sorry, please don't cry. I don't want to see you hurting anymore, please stop." He said this as he wiped away my tears. He had tears running down his bruised up face.
"Forth your face." I said reaching for his face.
"Mr. Baramee, your boyfriend is the one who rescued you last night. Pardon my French, but he is the one who beat the living shit out of the guy who did this to you. The sister Even got a broken nose to match her twin brothers pond in face."
"Forth you-" He cut me off.
"Didn't get to you in time." Forth said. Removing my hand from his face.
"What do you mean? Whatever that guy was going to do, he didn't get the chance to. He didn't get the chance to-" Again I was cut of by Forth.
"But he got the chance to spike your drink, and beat you up in the process. I should have been there to protect you." He said, balling his hand into a fist.
I put my hand onto his. "But you were there Forth, you saved me in time. Even though you said that you weren't going to come." I looked at Forth, and my eyes darted back and forth, as the events of last night started to come back.
"Forth, you... you said that you were tired, and that you were no longer going to make it." I said looking at him.
"Yes I did baby, but I say that all the time. But I always show up remember?" I looked at him, and tears came to my eyes, he is right. He does always say that, and I always fall for it. But in the end... he always shows up after a little while.
"Beam baby, why are you crying?" He asked as he rubbed my right cheek.
"Because Forth, I am so stupid. I fell for it again...
