Thea laughed at the thought of her and Saturn being lesbian. Nothing against the LGBT society (she thought Magnus and Alec were a cute couple), but being called gay was the most hilarious thing she had heard of today. She also grinned in triumph: she had guessed correctly. No one can hate you more than someone who used to love you. "Peeves, you getting this?"

Peeves cackled. This girl was on a whole new level, probably even better than Alistair used to be. Her magical prowess, her psychic skill, way more powerful and awesome than all the pranksters that had gone to Hogwarts before. "I got you covered, girly."

Thea unlocked the cupboard door, and as a last laugh, made them spill over into the corridor Gavin and herself in, toppling in front of them, Alistair on top of Kia.

Kia squeaked in alarm as light spilled into the cupboard, raising Alistair's jacket over her head. "Argh!" She screeched, her voice muffled. "It's too bright! My eyes are dying!"

Alistair, on the other hand, had other ideas. Uncurling himself off the floor, he stepped out, embracing the light. "Finally! It was far too dark in there." He heard Peeves' wild cackle from nearby. Of course. It was Peeves. And Thea. But he did not regret one single second he had spent inside.

Alistair, I can hear you, you know? Think of this more of a present instead of a prank. Thea snuck into Alistair's mind. Regret. No one should ever feel regret, it's such a terrible feeling, yet everyone feels it everyday. I regret not saving my sister. You regret rejecting Jensen. Kia regrets not saving Dai.

Alistair laughed bitterly. If not rejecting Jen meant he wouldn't have gone to become what he is now, I would have lied and said I loved him too- he was a brother to me, and the love I shared with him was brotherly. I hate myself for playing a part in making him a- a monster.

You're not the monster, Alistair. Jensen is the monster for letting himself twist and change into what he is now. Once, I was at that breaking point as well. I had just become who I am now, physically anyways. I was thrusted into a world where I could change lives without even moving a muscle, cut it's life thread without even twitching. And we all knew that there was more power, more strength, in the dark sides of the world. It is if we let ourselves be tempted by it that determines who we will become. I fought against my inner demons for months before I got it under control, but nowadays, you still see the ruthless monster inside of me. It's just how severe our case is. Tom and Alice, they were corrupted by it. Jensen, he was taken over by sadness and betrayal. They gave in. Not you. So it's not your fault.

Thanks for the heart to hearting, Thea. And how the bloody hell do I control my new Hecate skills? They're pretty wicked, but I'm scared they'll get out of control. Alistair stared out into the distance,

Your new powers aren't new. They've always been aiding you as you grew up as a wizard. How do you think you're so good at hexing? Just think that your magic is music, and now that you realise that you have your abilities, it's like plugging in your phone into an amp. It's so much louder, so much clearer, but if it blasts and distorts, you need to dial it down. That's what you need to learn to do. Dial down your magic. And if you have so much energy, power that is coursing through you and it hurts so bad to keep it in, don't worry I know how that feels, find something to store your power in. Thea took out a small silver statue of an arctic wolf, sitting regally, head howling towards the sky. This was forged with the help of Leo Valdez, and it's made of Stygian Iron, the same material as my gauntlets. Usually, any excess power that I have just goes into my gauntlets for future defensive use, but if it's too much, I transfer it into this statuette. Stygian Iron absorbs souls, life forces, and magic, so I don't recommend it for a mortal like you. Just for you to know, keeping it inside is dangerous. Once, I was cooped up at school for a month without use of my abilities, and when I was threatened, I blew up at the guy, and he's still in a coma. I shattered his entire body just by smashing him into a wall. Just keep that in mind.

Alistair raised an eyebrow. Whoa. Remind me never to get on your bad side. But again, you froze me in time once already. Not looking forward to that again. Just to let you know.

Time is a different matter. For those abilities, I have a stopwatch. It acts a bit like a time-turner , honestly, but I don't need to dial it and use its power, it's my own. Like the statue it's just a way to harness my abilities and to make sure I'm not going to freeze the entire world. My abilities came from the primordial Chronos, and the power was so immeasurable for my former mortal body that I was slammed into a 5 month coma, and according to my sister Annabeth, I glowed an unworldly golden, and shouted out things that I couldn't possibly know, like who died in the War, since when the War happened I was fighting Nyx herself. I could ask Leo to make one for you, but you should go ask Alabaster, or Lou-Ellen, if you can find her. I might have messed up her life when I turned back time.

Alistair nodded, internally confused as heck. I'll ask Alabaster... I'm kinda awkward with girls I don't know, especially if they're my half-sisters. He didn't even know who Lou-Ellen or Alabaster even were, besides the fact that they shared the same mother. He didn't know anything about the two people Thea had mentioned, besides the fact that they were all half-siblings.

Gavin half-choked, grabbing Kia by the shoulders and shaking her. "Kiki, where did you go? I was so worried! One second Alistair ran away, the next second you and Thea were both gone, and then the whole place went dark!" He fretted, pulling her close. "Are you alright? Are you hurt? Why were you in a broom cupboard?" He froze. "No, don't tell me-"
