Kylie ran after the fallen girl. "What is wrong?" She asked, helping up the girl. The other girl that had been frozen had been freed, and Thea's eyes were flashing erratically, silver eyes wide, with white zapping through it.

Kia sighed. "There's something wrong, is there?" She gasped. "Could it be the Kanes?"

Thea burst out a wave of energy as she regained consciousness, throwing the shadowhunter back. "Oh my gods I'm sorry. It's not the Kanes. They're not part of this. I recognised the place, before I was ripped out. It's Tom's hideout. I hate him. I was there before, and he has rogue vampires doing his dirty work for him."

"TOM?" Kia remembered him faintly. "Come on, let's go girls! We've got vampires to kill!"

Thea thrust a hand towards her, and froze everything but her head. "We can not go recklessly into this, Kia. Thomas and Alice are dangerous. They escaped the most secure prison in our world, up there. That's how dangerous they are. Alice cut off her hands to escape, and now she has blades for hands, to suit herself given alias, Alice Blade."

Wren raised her brows. "Wow, that's smart, but stupid. I wouldn't cut my hands off... imagine if someone used a blowtorch on her."

"Her hands were shackled to the prison floor. She dislocated her hip to knock out a guard and used her feet to cut off her hands so that she could get out. Her devotion the Night drove her crazy, and she would do anything to get Tom out. That is how stupid she is, and how crazy and dangerous that makes her. And Tom is like a warlock, but he only has the ability to induce confusion, but do not underestimate that. He can knock you catatonic with a glance, into a vegetative state of mind."

Wren whistled. "So in a way, he stares you into feeling like a cabbage."

Kia shrugged. "I suppose so. I've never really interacted with him before."

Tristan reappeared behind Wren, wrapping his arms around her. He was like a mist-manipulator, in the way that he could change the way things looked. "I don't like the idea of this 'Talice' duo."

"Neither do I." Replied Kylie. "So why don't we listen to the angel?"

"Thanks, Kylie. As I was saying, a vegetative state of mind is basically when your brain is as useless as a cabbage. And he can also brainwash anyone who comes to near, because, well let's just say he made a deal with one of the Devils, his Dark Lady, and I had to kill her." Thea cracked her knuckles. "But I had a bone to pick on Thomas. He ruined my life. He is the reason I live in pain every single day. And when this is done, I'm not even going to toss him into the depths of hell. He finds it fun, so I'll bring him to have some fun with one of my sisters, see how it is. I know where he is, but you guys better be fast."

Kylie smiles. "Fast is how I ride. Where to, Thea?"

"We don't need to ride. Girls, come with me. Alistair and Tristan, I hope you can do some more research about what we might be up against. I'm not sure myself, but I'll give you a little gift." She touched Alistair and Tristan's foreheads with two fingers, and they yelped.

"You, are incredibly talented." Kylie pointed. "You managed to put Tristan in line, and you actually tell people what you want them to do. How are we getting there?"

Thea flashed a smile. "Ever heard of shadow-travel?" Kia groaned beside her, and she laughed. "Yea, I know I don't know how to shadow-travel, you do, but I can implant the location in your mind. They have portals, they know how my teleportation feels like. They'd probably like a trip through the shadows, daughter of the Underworld."

Wren wrinkled her nose. She hoped their mission wouldn't be too terrible. "We're Shadowhunters, not shadows."

Kia rolled her eyes. "Seriously? Shadow-travelling? One of you is going to be in charge of catching me if I collapse." Nico had warned her not to use all her energy in one go, like he did once. "I don't want to burn out my 'life essence'." That was yet another warning, but from one of Nico's Egyptian friends- Anubis, the god of Toilet Paper.

"I'll lend you my strength. I hope to leave Dom out of this, since he has a bigger bone to pick on him. He'll lose control and I'll have to contain three angry and powerful dem- shadowhunters. Let's just say that we're sort of hybrid shadowhunters, so Kia's a bit more talented than your average Nephilim."

Kylie still looked concerned. "You said she is the daughter of the Underworld. What does that mean?"

Thea grinned. "That means her father is the King of the Underworld, which is the nicest level of the depths of hell. Been to the second lowest one three times, wasn't a fan."

Kia laughed nervously. "So I'm sort of like Tessa Gray, part Shadowhunter part Warlock."

Wren gasped. "I remember Clary telling me about her! At first her fake last name was Fray, from Ragnor Fell and Tessa Gray."

Kia snorted. "That sounds more like a ship name, but whatever."

"It's not Ragnor Fell, silly. It was for Fairchild." Kylie said. "Why don't we take a trip through your shadows?"

Thea smiled. "I guess we'll get to fully introduce you to the Shadow World. Kia?" Thea held out a hand to the daughter of Pluto, who reluctantly obliged. She sent the images into her head, and Kia nodded.

Kia summoned the shadows to her and the group, thinking of the place that Thea had sent her. "Here goes." They disappeared, reappearing at the warehouse. Kia stumbled, falling over. "I knew it."

Thea released a wave of energy into her friend, who immediately straightened up. "Listen."

"What?" Wren whispered loudly. Kia shushed her. They needed to stay quiet, or they were all going to be killed.

"Vampire incoming." Thea said in their minds, which made them all jump.

"How do you hear them?" Thought Kylie.

"I'm an angel. My senses are hundredfold of yours. I can hear your hearts beating. Wren's is especially fast, faster than Kia's, but yours is still like normal. I'm impressed." Thea said, before slicing a vampire in half, which had been about to bite Wren.

Kylie took out her bõ, readying it, as Thea charred the vampire's remains to smithereens in strange silver flames. "Ready when you are, Wren."

Thea cupped her hands together, and breathed, her silver energy creating a pair goggles for all of them. "Night vision and protection against Tom's ability. It helps expel any extra glamours, because even if you have the voyance rune, you'll still be affected. Things are different here. If you need a spare weapon, there are some Stygian Iron pins that can be activated by shaking your head and then nodding twice, if you're ever captured. I'll go with Kylie, Wren go with Kia."

Kylie nodded, putting on the visor. "Woah. Okay, this is creepy."

Thea smiled without emotion. "I guess you can see what I see now." She turned her palm to face upwards, and then displayed the architecture plans of the warehouse. "This is what I managed to steal from here the last time I came. Me and Kylie will go to the left wing, while you two go to the right. The main hall is there, and it will be our rendezvous point. If there's a shadowhunter in there, knock them out, and put this on them." She handed them a couple of bands. "It'll keep them unconscious, but do not attempt to mark them. Do not engage Tom. He's mine, and he will defeat you."
