Scorched Love (Newt x Reader)

Chapter 4

I come into yet another white testing room to see Newt running up and down multiple times and he wasn't looking too good.
"Please let me rest" Newt puffs
"You aren't finished so keep running" Janson orders and Newt starts running again.
After another minute, Newt collapses.
"Get up Newt, your not done. Come on get up" Janson orders
"Let him rest" I say and Janson notices me in the room
"(y/N) you know the rules, he must finish his testing"
"But he's sick, you won't get proper test results whilst he's like this and don't the rules say if someone can't continue, you let them be?"
"Very well, have it your way. You have five minutes before you have your testing" Janson said and leaves the room and I run over to Newt who's lying in the floor being sick.
"Thank you" he says
"Hey this is why I'm here, to look out for you. I love you, I won't ever stop looking after you"
"I know"
"Come on, let's get you back to your room and I'll grab you a bucket and some water" I say and put his arm over my shoulders and take him back to his room.

"Hey, get out of here" I hear Thomas say as I open my eyes to see him shooing a bird away.
I felt weird this morning. I had a lot of dreams, well I think they were dreams but they were sticking with me. Could they be memories? I then remembered one from Wicked when I helped Newt. They were memories, Newt and I were together before the maze.
"Are they gone?" Newt asks
"Yeah, we'll stay here a little longer just in case" Thomas says.
"Newt, can we talk?" I ask
"Yeah sure thing" he says and I lead him away from the group. "What is it?"
"I never told you what happened in Wicked"
"No you didn't and you've been acting a little different by the way"
"Have I?"
"Slightly yeah"
"I think they did something to me" I say and rub my neck which had been annoying me since yesterday.
"What do you mean?"
I then pulled my hair to the side and revealed a mark which he ran his fingers over.
"What'd they do?" He asked
"I don't know, I've been having these weird dreams, but I don't think they are dreams. Because, your in it and so is every one else and we're inside of Wicked being tested. I think they're memories Newt"
"You remember everything?"
"No, only bits come back but, they're coming back. We were together before they maze and you made a promise to me that we'd find each other again and we did"
"Thomas said something similar in the glade after he jabbed himself. He said he saw all of us in Wicked being tested"
"Why would Wicked give me my memories back?"
"I don't know, we should really talk to Thomas and Teresa. She might be the same"
"Where is Teresa anyway? I haven't seen her this morning"
"Yeah neither have I. Thomas, where's Teresa?" Newt asks Thomas as we walk back to the others.
"I don't know, I can't find her"
"Maybe she went ahead, we know what you girls are like" Minho said
"Funny Minho but seriously, why would she do that?"
"Who knows but maybe Minho's right, we'll probably meet her on the way to wherever we're going" I say but I was doubting it.
