Chapter 11

I wake to a slap to the face.
"Wake up you little brat" a girl says violently as I open my eyes to see its now the next day.
"Sorry for sleeping" I mumble and aim punched in the face and my lip splits and I taste blood in my mouth.
"Don't you dare back chat me prisoner"
I then spit blood onto the ground and look at her
"Nina, what have I said about hurting her?" Teresa questions walking over
"But she wouldn't wake up, it was the only way"
"Only way my arse now get back to what you were doing" Teresa orders and the girl walks off as she walks over.
"You ok?" Teresa asked
"Why are you caring so much when your letting them hurt me"
"I'm sorry but I have to do this. You'll understand later I can't say now"
"I don't trust you"
"Teresa what are you doing?" A girl asks from behind her
"Sorry" Teresa says before turning back to the girl. "I'm just showing our prisoner what happens when she tries to play funny with us" She says and then hits me in the face hard now making my nose bleed and vision goes funny. She then walks away and leaves me there. This wasn't the Teresa I knew.

Newt's POV:
We were almost at the camp, we just had a little more climbing to go when Brenda speaks up.
"We're gonna need a plan"
"A plan for what?" I ask
"For getting your girlfriend out of there dumb nut"
"You have a way with words don't you" I say standing my ground in front of her
"Alright, break it up you two and yes Newt, we're no gonna need a plan in case there's 'guards' up there" Thomas says standing between us
"Alright, we run when we get her of course" I say
"Brenda can be on look out since (Y/N), trusts us more than her"
"I'm here you know" Brenda says
"Yeah, I can see that. That's why I said it" Thomas said smirking and have to hold in my laughter
"Anyway, back on task, you two find her and I'll be in lookout, there, now let's get to the top" Brenda says and we start climbing again.

We finally reach the top to see a camp and a bunch of girls.
"So that's where all the girls went to" Thomas says
"Nah duh" I say "mind blown"
"Hey look there she is, and she don't look in a good way" Brenda says pointing to a tree.
I then look left and right and bolt to the tree and hide behind one near it with the other two following. I then try to get (Y/N)'s attention.
"Psst, (Y/N), psst"
She looks over at me.
"Newt, Newt get me out of here" she says and I run over to her with Thomas,
"Shh, you need to stay quiet. We're getting you out of here" I say and start undoing her bindings.
"Thomas you're here too" she says
"I'm not leaving my sister behind" he says and then I get the bindings undone.
"Look what they did to you" I say touching her face. There was dry blood from her nose and lip and she had a few bruises here and there.
"Can you get up?" Thomas asks
"I think so" she says and then we help her up but she grabs at her side immediately.
"Babe what's wrong?" I ask
"It hurts where Gally stabbed me. One of the girls kicked me there" she says cringing
"Ok, I'm gonna carry you on my back. You need to hold on" Thomas says and she nods and he bends over and she climbs on his back and I steady her to make sure she's on.
"Guys, someone's coming" Brenda says but it was too late.
"Newt? Thomas? What are you doing here?"
It was Teresa
"We're getting (Y/N) back that's what" I say
"I had to do this, I'm sorry"
"What do you mean you had to do this?"
"Let me come with you and I can explain"
"No way..." I start
"Newt, let her come" Thomas says
"But Thomas..."
"She's coming, now let's get moving" Thomas says and we start walking and then we hear shouts and running feet behind us.
"Go, go, go, go, go!" I yell and we bolt from the mountain. Jumping from ledge to ledge. Brenda was up front and then I see her fall down a hole and she screams as she does and then we follow suit, screaming as we went.

(Y/N)'s POV:
I scream as well fall down a hole onto a hard surface and I land on my side and I hold in my screams of pain.
"Is everyone ok?" Brenda asks
"I think so. Is everyone here?" Thomas asks
"Yeah, I see five figures" Kaya says
"(y/N) you ok?" Newt asks as he comes over to me and helps me sit up.
"In pain but I'll live" I say as he pulls me to my feet.
"Where the shuck are we?" Thomas asks
"I think we're in some kind of sewer" Brenda guesses
"Oh great" Teresa says
"We should get moving" Newt says as he put my arm over his shoulders and his under my arms so he can support me.
"Is (Y/N) alright?" Thomas asks
"I'm ok, just really sore. I should be alright soon though" I say
"Ok, well, let's find a way out if here" Teresa says and we start walking.

We walk down many drainage systems until we come across one which looks like it has tree roots growing inside.
"What's going on here?" I ask pointing down the pipe.
"We shouldn't stay here guys" Brenda says
"Why?" Newt asks
"Because this is where the full gone cranks are" Brenda says as a crank detaches itself from the wall scaring the life out of us. It then sees us and we start backing away but hear more behind us and we turn around to see two more. I see Thomas and Teresa nod at each other and then they run at the cranks and kick them and they fall to the ground.
"Come on, let's get out of here!" Thomas yells and we all start running.
"They're following us" I say as a few cranks are running behind us.
"Look, there's a way out. Climb!" Brenda says and Newt pushes me up the little ladder first and I open the hatch at the top and climb out.
"Hurry!" I yell as they start climbing. Once the last person is out, we slam the hatch but a hand stops it from closing and we bolt. We were surrounded by crumbling buildings that were no longer standing on their own.
"In here!" Brenda says and we run into one of them. I look back for a second to see two cranks coming after us.
"Hurry up!" Brenda yells from up front and I run faster. We start climbing some stairs that were sideways which was a struggle. I then see rocks falling down from above as Brenda climbs the wall.
"Look out!" She yells and Thomas, Teresa, Newt and myself pull ourselves closer to the wall as a huge piece of debris falls down, taking one of the cranks with it. The other one survives though.
"Keep climbing" I say
We then reach an even surface and we open a door to see it leads to a drop and the only thing stopping you from falling to your death was the glass at the bottom. The room then shakes slightly and we all lose our balance. Thomas, Newt and Teresa fall against the wall but myself and Brenda weren't so lucky and we fell through the door and onto the glass.
"(y/N)! Brenda!" I hear Newt and Thomas yell.
"We're coming down just don't move" Thomas says
"It's too dangerous" I say
"I don't care, I'm not letting you fall to your death"
I can hear the three of them climbing down. Brenda then starts to move which cracks the glass slightly.
"Brenda stop" I say, fear hesitant in my voice
"We have to get up, it's too dangerous to lie down" Brenda says and starts to stand up. I then follow suit and the glass starts cracking.
"What'd I say about not moving?" Thomas questions from above.
"I ain't taking my chances lying down, at least of the glass breaks we can jump" Brenda says.
"Ok, just stay still now, we're almost there"
I see Newt climbing down towards me and Thomas was helping Brenda.
"Guys, look out! The crank!" I hear Teresa yell and then we see the crank fall down. As soon as it hits the glass, it shatters.
"Jump!" Brenda yells and we jump at the very last second and I grab Newt's hand.
"I got you" he says and starts pulling me up.
As soon as I was in his arms I started crying. I thought I was going to fall.
"Shh, you're ok now (Y/N). Your safe. Nothing is going to hurt you" He soothes hugging me
"I was so scared" I say
"I know, but you're ok now"
I then feel someone kneel down next to us and it was Thomas. I then hug him as well.
"Come on, we need to get out of here" Brenda says who seemed fine after that. We then got to our feet and climbed back up.
