Scorched Love (Newt x Reader)

Chapter 7

Newt, Frypan, Aris and Thomas grab their torches and turn them on. Minho was knocked out and the boys were trying to get him up. I then see him rise from the ground as he woke up. I still couldn't hear anything, the ringing was slowly going away but, still nothing. Newt then comes over to me and says something but, I didn't know what.
"I can't hear you" I say, well I think I did.
He then nods as in understanding and then goes back over to Thomas to tell him. My hearing was slowly coming back.
Myself and Minho stay on the ground as the other boys stand up and look around the area. I could now hear them faintly. Just then I see a figure behind Thomas looking like he was going to hurt him.
"Thomas look out!" I yell and he turns behind him and jumps out of the way of someone trying to hit him.
"Holy shit!" I hear him yell vaguely. I stand up and go over to them and so does Minho. We were then surrounded by a bunch of people.
"Enough!" I hear a woman yell. My hearing was finally back.
We look up to see someone slide down some sort of pole.
"Back down guys, Jorge don't want me dead ya know" she says and steps forward.
"You guys look like shit" she says
"I'm sorry, who are you?" I ask
"The name's Brenda and don't mind these guys, they're a bit gone in the head"
"So their cranks?" Newt questions
"Not yet, nowhere near the gone stage. Follow me" she says "unless you want to hang out with them"
We then follow her up a bunch of stairs.
"Who's Jorge?" Thomas asks
"He's the guy who runs this place, he built it basically when the scorch hit us" Brenda says
"Is anyone else getting a bad feeling about this place?" Newt asks who's walking next to me.
"Let's just see what the guy has too say" I shrug
"Yeah, he might help us, you never know" Thomas says and we're lead into a room with a tall black guy, with his back to us and he turns around.
"You brought them" Jorge says as Brenda flops on a couch
"Yep, all in one piece, had to convince a couple of guys to not attack em though" Brenda says
"So tell me, where are you going? Where did you come from? How can I profit?" Jorge asks
"We're looking for the Right Arm" Thomas says
"You mean your looking for ghosts" Jorge says as a few guys laugh behind us.
"What do you mean ghosts?" I ask
"No ones ever seen the guys, their a myth. They don't exist"
I then look at Thomas and he has a firm face.
"So, where did you come from?" Jorge asks having a sip of some drink.
"That's our business" Minho says
Jorge then nods at Brenda who grabs me whilst the other boys are held and bends me over.
"Hey let go of her!" Thomas yells
I hear something as if I'm being scanned.
"You were right" Brenda says and Jorge some sort of device from her.
"Sorry hermanno's your from Wicked which makes you very valuable" he says and we're surrounded and grabbed.
"Newt!" I yell
"(Y/N)!" He replies back as we're taken to a place where there's a huge hole in the centre of the room.
"We're gonna have a little fun" Some guy says and pins me on the ground and I yell.
"Leave her alone!" I hear Thomas yell at the guy. I try to fight back but I feel my feet getting tied together. He then throws me off of the edge and I scream until I haunt in place upside down. I then see Newt appear beside me.
"Great plan Thomas, see what the guy has to say" Minho says
"Shut up Minho" Thomas replies annoyed
"Maybe we could reach that bar and try and get out" Aris suggests.
"You are going nowhere" I hear Jorge say "having fun?"
"Yeah best fun I've had in ages, thanks for asking" Frypan scoffs
"If you want to get out of that situation, your going to tell me everything you know about The Right Arm"
"I thought you said they were ghosts?" Newt questioned
"I happen to believe in ghosts"
"Well, we don't know much" Thomas says and then Jorge pulls a leaver and we drop a bit with all of us yelling. "Ok ok, I'll tell. They have a camp in the mountains and that they rescued a bunch of kids from Wicked that's all we know"
"Jorge" a guy says by the door "what are you doing?"
"I was just getting to know our prisoners, but we're finished now" Jorge says and starts to leave
"Wait, your not going to help us?" Thomas asks
"Don't worry hermanno, I'll send you back to where you belong" he says and then leaves.
"Great" I hear Newt say in annoyance
"Why do we always trust you Thomas when everything just goes from bad to worse?" Minho questioned
"You wanna do something Minho, grab (Y/N) and push her towards the bar, we're getting out of here" Thomas says and Newt grabs my hand and pulls me to him.
"You ready?" He asks
"Yeah" I say and he pushes me to Minho who catches me.
It takes ages until we actually get close.
"Come on Minho, push harder" Newt says
"Why don't you do it Newt?" Minho questions
"Because I ain't in line with the bloody bar"
Minho then shoves me hard and I grab it.
"Yes, good job (Y/N), now get us down" Thomas says as I pull the lever without warning them and the boys yell. I then untie my legs and stand up and run over to Newt and grab a stick to pull him closer to the edge with and he grabs it and I pull him in and start untying his bindings.

After we'd all gotten untied, we start to run and get out of there. I'm running at the back whilst Thomas leads at the front when I'm grabbed and I yell and the boys stop and look at me. I was being held by that guy who called Jorge earlier and he had a gun pointed to my head. I was shaking, it was the first time I was afraid.
"Let her go!" I hear Newt yell who starts advancing forward.
"Come any closer or do anything stupid, she's dead" the guy says and Newt stops "you guys are coming with me and I'm taking you to Janson" he says and then I stomp on his foot and elbow him in the gut and twist his arm so he shoots the wall and he drops it. Newt then grabs me and pulls me with him.
"Come on run!" Thomas yells and we continue running.
"Hey, Thomas, this way. Come on I'm getting you out of here" I hear a woman yell from up ahead and Brenda stands by a door way and we go through it and meet up with Jorge.
"Come on, down here" Jorge says as he sits at the start of the hatch. "I'm taking you to The Right Arm" he says and then slides down.
"Come on (Y/N), you go first" Newt says "I'll be right behind you"
I then go down the hatch and fall at the bottom.
"Woah, oof" I hear Newt say as he lands next to me. "Told you" he says and we get up before Frypan comes sliding down and then the rest of the gang with Thomas being last.
"Everyone ok?" Thomas asks
"Yeah we're fine" Frypan says
"Let's get out of here" Jorge says and we run after him.
