Days passed and it was finally time to start the first so called lesson to Dumbledore's Army. Skye would have preferred to study for transfiguration but hexing Lavender didn't seem like a bad idea either. As Skye was walking down the halls a familiar annoying voice rang out from behind her.

"And where might you be heading you filthy half blood?" Draco Malfoy walked behind her a smirk plastered on his face. Skye ignored him like she usually did. He just wanted a reaction and she didn't feel like entertaining.

"Didn't you hear me Hamilton. Where. Are. You. Going." He said his words were sharp.

"Shut it Malfoy I don't wanna talk to you." Skye replied and decided to turn left away from the room of requirement. Skye wasn't going to give up the meeting location which meant she had to walk to opposite direction.

"Your Father finally go crazy? All muggles are crazy you know." He taunted. Skye held her tongue. He isn't worth getting in trouble for she thought as she clenched her hands into fists.

"Are you even listening to me?" He asked clearly getting pissed at her lack of response. Skye couldn't do it anymore she pulled her wand out from her boot and pointed it at him. Draco's smirk fell from his face and turned into fear.

"First off you don't call my dad crazy at least he take cares of me unlike yours. Now back off Malfoy." She growls her grip on her wand tightening. Hurt flashed through his eyes but only for a moment before he shoved her to the side and walked away. Skye sighed and turned back around heading towards the room of requirement.

Once Skye arrived she saw everyone chatting happily between each other. She walked over to the twins ,who now had their hair back to red.

"What took you so long?" Fred asked. Skye groaned and looked up at the ceiling.

"Was it Malfoy again?" George asked as she nodded and rolled her eyes.

"Why have I become his target lately?" She asked earning a shrug from both the twins. Victoria was now next to them.

"Well I could tell you why." She comments and they all turn to her eager to know the answer. "He's working for Umbridge. Obviously. That and his dad has been up his butt 10x more lately so he's been super stressed." Victoria stated obviously "I've been thinking about trying to cheer him up lately but I have no idea how."

Victoria and Draco Malfoy weren't exactly friends, but they were not enemies either. They were acquaintances, exchanged hellos in the common room on occasion. He was very kind despite what others thought, though Victoria had yet to be able to convince the others of it. He had played the role of villain for so long, but she was convinced he was a good person.

"Maybe he's the one up his father's ass." Skye says with a laugh.

"Alright everyone let's get started." Harry yelled getting everyone to gather around in the middle of the room. Victoria was the only slytherin in the room, and people still continued to give her looks of judgement.

Everyone went around practicing various spells to help defend themselves. One spell in particular was expelliarmus. Neville was the only one who didn't seem to get the hang of it.

"Five gallons says he doesn't get in next week." Skye says.

"That's so rude. He's just a late bloomer." Victoria rolled her eyes at her best friends comment. Believe it or not, Slytherin's could believe in people too.

In the next few weeks the classes continued, Harry was an amazing teacher, all of the members of Dumbledore's Army could agree on that. As well as the classes continued, so did Umbridge's reign on Hogwarts.

The woman was horrid, all of Hogwarts thought the same in that aspect. Skye had yet to get a detention, though Victoria spoke against her one too many times.

Victoria was nervous as she headed to Umbridge's room, her hands were shaking. All she had said to the toad was that they should be learning real spells for the dangers of the real world. Victoria thought the room was a sickening shade of pink, the incessant sound of meowing cats from the plates covering the walls was already getting on her nerves, and she loved cats.

"Victoria, please sit. I would like you to write 'I will only speak when spoken to' 100 times and then you are free to go. And don't worry about the quill, it doesn't need any ink." Umbridge's voice was yet another thing in this room she couldn't stand. Victoria sat and started writing, not 5 sentences in the back of her hand started to sting. The outline of her cursive writing of "I will only speak when spoken to" on the spot.

Victoria's eyes darted up to Umbridge, who was sitting and looking at her, a devious smile on her face. "You may not leave until you have written 100 sentences, you better hurry."

As she wrote the sharp pains in her hand increased, causing her writing to falter. The ink on the paper turned red, no doubt from the blood on her hand. Victoria wrote faster and faster, biting into her cheek to stop from gasping at the pain.

It was almost unbearable by the time she reached 100. Her entire hand was shaking like it was mid winter and she was outside in her underwear, she could feel tears in her eyes as she stood and handed Umbridge the paper. The woman smiled at her and released her from detention, telling her to keep in mind the lesson she learned today.

As soon as the door shut behind Victoria a choked sob escaped her lips, there was blood dripping from her hand as she headed back to the common room.

"Where do you think your going?"
