Grudges

Chapter 42

After staying a few days at Bill and Fleur's home they received news of the war, the Order of the Phoenix was attacking Hogwarts in 4 days time and they needed to come to Grimmauld place immediately. Victoria was quickly on board to fight, though Draco was worried she wasn't healed enough to fight. He was worried the scars would open back up and she would get injured even more than she already was.

"Draco, babe, i'm gonna be fine. I honestly don't even care about them. This is war, I need to fight." Victoria argued as they walked down the stairs on the way to the portkey to Grimmauld place.

"But I do. It could get infected! They could start hurting so much you get distracted and get killed! What if you have to run away and you can't run and you die?! What would I do then? I love you far too much to let you do that!" Draco exclaimed as they came through the living room. Victoria stopped and turned around, placing her hands on Draco's face.

"Look, I love you, so, so, much. But don't try and make me not fight because that's not going to happen. Just leave it be so we don't have to argue anymore. Okay?" Victoria patted Draco's cheek and turned away, following the Bill outside to the portkey. Draco grumbled behind her in protest but followed regardless.

"Fine. But you're not getting more than an arm's reach away from me."

And with that, they travelled to Grimmauld Place, preparing for the war to come.

Skye had overheard that Victoria was supposedly coming to Grimmauld Place for the meeting. So that must mean Victoria was okay right?

"Freddie! Georgie! Victoria is coming!" Skye practically sang it in her room as the twins stood in the doorway laughing. Skye ran and hugged them both with a smile on her face. "Victoria is okay! She's alive! George you were right." Skye said as she smiled. The three of them walked down to the living room as they waited for Bill, Fleur and Victoria.

"You going to apologize finally?" Fred asked with a laugh as he put an arm around her shoulder. Skye rolled her eyes and sighed. She was about to answer when she saw Bill and Fleur walk in. Who was behind them changed her whole mood.

"No. I might. But not right now." Skye said as she saw Draco standing quietly behind Victoria. Why had she brought him? She brought a death eater to the war meeting!

"Is that?" "Malfoy" The twins spoke as they noticed Draco. Victoria looked worn out and Skye had noticed a scab under one of her eyes. What had happened at Malfoy Manor?

"Skye, Fred, George come on in here." Arthur called from the dining room.

It was going to be an interesting meeting now that Victoria had brought him along.

Victoria knew Skye was going to to be at the meeting, and she knew she wasn't going to be happy that Draco was there. She wanted to apologize right away, but the meeting was more important. The entire Weasley family seemed wary of Draco, they didn't even want to start the meeting until he was gone but Victoria wouldn't allow that.

"Before this meeting starts i'd like to clear something up. After the incidents at Malfoy Manor Draco decided to come with us due to the condition I was in at the time, he will be fighting with us during the war therefore we can trust him." Victoria spoke very formally as she was in a room full of adults staring at her, but she meant what she said.

"Condition?" Skye asked from across the table, a concerned expression across her face. Victoria sighed and stood, slowly unbuttoning her shirt to show them the damage done to her.
