Chapter 22

"Victoria would you get off of me?!" Harry yelled as Victoria hung onto him like a child to a mother.

"But babe..."

"I'm not your babe." Harry was getting annoyed with Victoria constantly being all over him and it had only been about 10 minutes. Harry was on the way to Professor McGonagall's office, he trusted her most of all the teachers to know how to fix this.

"Potter. Why are you out in the corridors with my girlfriend?" The blonde growled as he turned to corner to see Victoria and Harry together.

"Oh leave us alone Draco. I want some more alone time with my babe." Victoria sighed as she stood on her tiptoes and kissed Harry once again. A sharp pain shot through Draco's heart as he witnessed the kiss. He quickly pulled his wand out and cast a spell towards the 2, throwing them apart and aiming his wand at Harry.

"What hell have you done to her Potter?" He yelled, his chest was heaving and his hand was shaking in anger at the thought of his girl and the damn chosen one. "I'll kill you!"

"No no no Malfoy it wasn't me! She's under some kind of spell and I was the first person she saw! This is not me!" Harry was shaking his hands repeatedly in a defensive motion.

"Then who the hell did it?!" Draco roared and looked back at Victoria, who was sitting and watching the 2 boys with a confused look. Victoria stood and walked towards the 2, not taking her eyes off of Draco as she walked. Draco noticed something about her eyes, whereas when he first looked at her eyes were cloudy, now they were clear. She approached him warily, putting her hand up to his face and caressing his cheek. Before she could move anymore the cloudiness returned to her eyes and she turned back to Harry with a broad smile on her face.

"Babe! You're okay right? Of course you're okay!" Victoria said, happily hugging Harry and placing a kiss on his cheek.

"I'm not your babe. Now c'mon we have to get to McGonagall so she can fix you!" Harry said pulling her along. Draco glared at the pair and stalked after them, there was no way he was leaving saint Potter alone with his girlfriend

Skye was walking down the hall when she heard Victoria's loud voice around the corner.

"But babe!" Victoria's shrill voice rang out. Skye peeked around the corner. Skye watched as Victoria hung all over Harry and Draco stood by with a disgusted look on his face. Skye couldn't help but smirk as she watched the scene unfold.

"Stop calling me babe." Harry said rolling his eyes.

"Potter let me take her." Draco started but Victoria interrupted him. Skye could see how Draco was falling apart by watching them. It hurt her to watch but only for a moment.

"Draco leave Harry and I alone. I want to be alone with him." Victoria mused caressing Harry's cheek. Skye pulled a book out of her bag and pretended to read as she walked down towards the trio.

"Hamilton! You're smart fix this!" Draco commanded. Skye gripped her book tighter when he said her name. Skye looked up innocently as she looked at him then at Harry and Victoria.

"I don't see anything wrong. She did like Harry to begin with at least that's what she told me." Skye said as she laughed inwardly. Skye's job was officially finished. Skye looked over to Draco and smirked.

"Plus it wasn't like you had a real chance with her anyway." Skye watched as her words affected him. His once icy eyes softened and turned sad. This wasn't what Fred felt right?

"Skye what was wrong with that cake you gave us?" Harry asked making Skye's eyes widen.

"Something was wrong with the cake? We all ate it remember I just handed you a piece to give her." Skye said.

"So you didn't do anything to it before you gave me the cake slice?"

All eyes were now looking at Skye. She couldn't tell them now. Victoria still hasn't had enough time to actually realize how much better Harry is.

"What in the world would make you say that? Of course I didn't do anything to the cake slice." Skye said as she twirled a piece of her long raven hair.

"You always did twirl your hair when you lied." Victoria said, her eyes still cloudy as she gazed into the distance.

"It was you!" Draco hissed pulling out his wand and aiming it at her with fire in his eyes.

"Malfoy take one step towards me and I will hex you." Skye threatened. He really did like Victoria. Draco took a step towards her and Skye pulled her wand out of her boot her book dropping to the ground.

"Do it and I will turn you into Umbridge." Draco seethed with anger as he spoke scaring Skye just a bit.

"Is no one going to talk about Harry giving her the cake! They had to be alone for it to even work!" Skye yelled looking at Harry.

"It wasn't him. He refuses to love me." Victoria pouted and tried to kiss Harry again, who in turn pushed her away from him.

"Why did you give it to her Hamilton?" Draco asked as he watched Victoria. Skye had noticed the way he looked at Victoria. His eyes were filled with sorrow, it was the same look that Fred gave her earlier. A pang of regret shot through her before she shook it off.

"Look. Victoria didn't and doesn't need to be with the likes of you Malfoy. Alright? I hate how you treat us like we're shit. You took my best friend from me and now I'm taking her away from you." Skye explained tears threatening to escape from her eyes. "It will wear off in 24 hrs." Skye said quietly before turning away.
