Within a few weeks my home had been turned in to a house filled with boxes. Photographs had been taken down off the wall, wardrobes had been taken to the tip and my 18 years of life had been packed into an uncountable amount of boxes. And because there was so many my Dad gave up on numbers and started writing "41 of 5,000" which wasn't funny.

My friends had organised a leaving party for me and we went out for a lovely meal at the new Italian and then a night on the tiles was arranged.

I couldn't have been happier, I actually sharked and had drinks bought for me and gave out my number! But in the bottom of my stomach I knew that I would miss all this, as I sat at the bar I watched my friends dance with each other knowing that I would be a long time waiting to see them all again like this.

I would miss them because they have stood by me for years and now I'm going to have to make new friends and start life all over again.

Time flew by since that leaving party with my friends they gave me a tearful goodbye and a present for me to open when i truly missed them all.

So there I sat with my mum, dad and little sister Fleur on the 10.30 am train From London Kings Cross station to Northallerton and then on to Middle earth by taxi, nervous as hell about the journey and adventure that awaits me.

In London I would leave behind the cocky ex, the exciting and unpredictable London life and unfortunately my friends, the best any girl could ever hope for in life. It seemed like my life went from fair to destitute.
