And sure enough the next day Arny walked in with a blue tinge to his skin and was constantly itching. That was all we could see for now. But that and his bruises from Dom no one could help but giggle at the sight of him, but it got better.

As the days went past, sure enough Arny’s hair got lighter and lighter as his skin got oranger and oranger.  But we decided to lay low and watch his reactions, see if he’d figure it out but I guess he did. During the first couple of days and weeks he had made a significant amount of friends and I knew he had figured out it was us who had booby trapped his house because we received dirty looks from him and confused looks from his new mates.

It was magnificent! I never knew revenge could be oh so sweet. He looked like such a Class A twat!

But we had to wait, if he figured it out… Would he retaliate? And if so, what would he do? This worried me but Dominic always assured me that he’d protect me. I don’t know if he was joking because he thought I was just over reacting and being paranoid… But someone had to be.

About 3 weeks or so later… I got my answer.

It was a Wednesday and I only had 2 lessons in the middle of the day so I figured, I’ll go in late and leave early. So I woke up at 9am instead of 7am and left the house at 10.20am to have my 10.50am English lesson for an hour and then an hour of hockey with Han, Kate and Meg.

And that was always a laugh but today was different something was odd, different. But I didn’t think anything of it. After hockey, me and Han decided to wondered to my locker before we went home early, went to my locker, put my key in turned it and BOOM!

It spewed out from my locker and all over my front and onto the floor. Green paint. The can was attached to a hook. So, somehow, when I opened the door the whole 2 litre can spilled over my front. It was a prank that fitted Arny to a T, clever, childish but effective.

Han stood there her mouth forming an O. We quickly legged it back to the changing rooms, Han took my phone and bags off me, shoved me into the shower cubicle fully clothed.

Green water circled the drain as I rinsed myself and my clothes off.  I am SO glad that there was only me and Han to see that. As I showered she scuttled off to remove the can and all evidence of what had occurred including the splodges on the floor, all she could say was ‘I bet your glad you didn’t get changed now’ and I was, very glad. I put my clean clothes on and dried my hair under the hand dryer of the bathroom, Kate soon join us and as Han sat brushing my hair, Kate did my make-up.

This was ultimate and horrific and as Kate said,

‘It’s payback time’

And I have to admit… It was definitely payback time.

But we discussed it and came to the conclusion that we should leave it for a while, let him think he’s won and like what he did with me, when he least expects it, hit him hard.

For now, we decided to play it cool, carry on like there was no green paint in my locker because there was no remaining evidence of it, anywhere. So we left the changing rooms, fresh as a daisy, giggling.

As we approached my locker we saw Arny leaning on the wall across from my locker, watching and waiting. We ignored him strolled up to my locker, opened it rummaged around, put some books in, took some out when I noticed a note, in Arny’s handwriting reading,

This isn’t over’

I had to agree with him… It’s not. I acted like I had never noticed it and simply put it in my planner, closed the locker and turned around to see a very confused Arny, stood up straight, staring at me, jaw hanging open.

I figured I might as well screw with his head while I have the chance. I casually walked over to him put my hand under his chin and pushed his jaw closed and asked,

‘Surprised?’

And walked away with Han and Kate in fits of laughter. As he watched... still gob smacked. I spent the rest of the evening as usual with Dominic in the park and then laid in the garden doing homework until the stars come out and Dominic has to go home and me to bed, usually Han would join us but tonight she said she was 'busy' and if I didn't know her better Ii would say she has a date.

So Dom tells me to go to sleep kisses my head and says

'I love you, Goodnight Miss Rock'

To which I'd always reply,

'I love you, Goodnight Mr Green'

It wasn't until 2am then next morning I had found out where Han had been. The door slowly creaked open and a sleepy me was bathed in light from the landing. Then bash my bedside cabinet wobbled and then a mumble of curses from the lady of the hour so why was she in my room?

'Why are you in my room?'

'I couldn't be bothered to go to my own'

'It's right next door dipstick'

'Well tough, you got me, so budge up fat so'

'Where were you tonight?'

'I was on a date; I'll tell you about it tomorrow now shut up go to sleep... Do you know what time it is?'

'Yeh but...'

'Now buts now budge up and go to sleep'

I don't know why but that worked... Lazy hoe just got into my bed and was flat out asleep, she should be glad I love her so much to tolerate her. So I to fell asleep and woke up to no Han but a text.

'Morning beautiful'

Could only be Dom, but where has Han gone now? Hot Damn she was so easy to lose... Even in our house!
