As weeks went past I made friends hung out with them so I was no longer a loner. Me and Dominic drifted apart and hardly talked to each other and I didn’t really see him.
My house had fallen into order and there were only a few boxes that were still full but at least they weren’t mine. Fleur had also made many friends and so had mum and dad. We were socially accepted into middle earth which to my surprise was great.
I became popular at college, people knew me and were kind to me. I guess they were to everyone.
I also changed my phone company so if i got lost (very likely) I could get some help or directions... I was fitting in, life was good.
We were invited to neighbour’s houses for welcoming parties and they were and funny bunch. They were mainly older people either retired or getting there apart from a few families like mine. The neighbours were not what I had been used to down south, they’d get completely wasted and dance around people’s front rooms to Abba and shouting the words rather than singing them!
But middle earth was growing on me as much as it pains me to admit it. The people were friendlier then down south, it was safer then London and I had gotten a job at a successful café that sold scone, tea, sandwiches and cakes to eat in or take-away.
Life was good.
It was the morning of the Queen’s jubilee and there was a street party on my estate.
Yippee.
The Doctor’s wife had arranged the whole thing, putting notices through people’s doors asking them to bring certain items of food to share with the street or in reality estate. I was excited for one reason.
Dominic.
I hadn’t seen him since he last walked me home and helped me order Chinese. I was worried that I had freaked him out by blabbering on about my boring life or my freakish sister that smiled and glared at him the whole way home as if she was a fat kid in a buffet line!
But this street party will be where I shall redeem myself, I will look gorgeous, beautiful, boobiful and god damn hot… I shall go to the ball, or street party. Whatever don’t piss on my parade…
As I wondered down the street with my family, mum carried the sausages, dad carried the bread buns and I carried the most important part of any party, the booze!
The sun was shining and I looked hot to trot. As we reached the party we were greeted by loud tasteful music, a vast amount of food that could keep a staving child fed for life and happy people. The rain had kept its distance and apart from the chill I couldn't have asked for a better street party!
We ate, chatted and sang the national anthem and had a ball of a time! I really didn't expect to have this much fun.
"Hello, how are you?"
Dominic!
Or i thought it was...
"What is a girl as gorgeous as you doing in a place like this?"
It was the local grease bucket, Jay Dock, was chatting me up. A party to remember...
I couldn't get away from him staring and drooling at my tits as if i was some kind of meat, yum!
"Can I help you Jay?"
I hope to god this wasn't another grease bucket, Jay has enough grease in his hair to cook some chips... for the whole street. But Jay replied,
"Oh hey Dominic, i was erm... just erm... leaving"
And he slumped away to the drinks table, KERCHING!
As I turned round it was Dominic looking as handsome as ever, standing incredibly close to me, I'm not complaining.
We talked about how we have been and i thanked him for saving me from grease bucket Jay,
"Don't sweat it, I'll be your knight in shining armour"
With a cheeky wink, my legs were starting to turn to jelly...
"Haha thanks but i don't need knight, just a drink"
"Well you looked like you had him under control... And that can be arranged, wanna get out of here?"
