chapter 23

It’s Monday, so let the mischief begin. We (Han, Eli and I) had decided that we would wait until Arny left his house that morning to set up traps. I had mentioned that his Mother had always taught him to leave a key in a plant pot and seen as thought there was only one, that wouldn't be hard.

We watch him leave his house 2 hours before school had started and once we were sure he had gone we walked up to the front door, pulled the key out of the plant pot, unlocked the door and made ourselves at home. We had divided the rooms up between ourselves Han said she had something special planned for the bathrooms so we handed them over to her Eli said he had always wanted to be in a fit guys bedroom so as cringe worthy as that was he was given the bedrooms and I ended up with the living rooms and kitchen.

Since my Gran had died my Grandad's fridge has been helping cheese, milk, meats and all kind of crap to grow big strong and green... So this morning i got some fresh food and milk from my fridge at home and walked over to Grandad's house to freshen his supplies.

Don't worry, this has relevance.

But instead of putting his freshly grown mould infested food in the bin, I put it all in a plastic box and met Eli and Han. And then replaced all of Arny's fresh food with Grandad's not so fresh food, making sure it smells a lot and will do for a while by unplugging the fridge.

Then for me it was time to attend to the living room, this included whoopee cushions and a bucket of blue 'Gelli Baff' above the door that I had gotten for Christmas with added blue food colouring. But there was one last thing to do before we all left and that was to leave a smurf hat on the kitchen table with a letter on top of it, the letters we cut out of newspapers says...

'Go back home'

Short and sweet, as we had time to spare we wondered up to college and told each other what traps we had set in place and we howled at some of the things. We hadn't discussed last night what we were exactly going to do but apparently while me and Dom were out they had arranged to meet this morning and Han only told me this morning so as mine were simple... Theirs were master minded. Eli had put inching powder in all of Arny's clothes and between the covers of his bed and claimed he had to take care so he himself wouldn't be scratching his bollocks all day. 

Whereas Han had put peroxide in his shampoo, conditioner and other bottles of hair care. She had gotten the peroxide from some facial hair bleach in my bathroom cabinet. In the hope that when he washes his hair as the days goes past it will get lighter and lighter. She also said that she had to do something childish as well so she had put sachets of ketchup underneath the rim on the toilet seat with a little cut in the end facing the bowl so when he sits down it will squirt out into the loo hopefully confusing him.

As well as those, PVA glue had been put on the banister with some glitter and Eli had but fake tan in his moisturiser so as his hair gets lighter his face gets oranger. I couldn't help but feel extremely proud of myself and once we walked into college I felt like the bomb! I was confident that we, as a team were going to drive Arny out of middle earth.

So as I sat in biology with Meg laughing about our pranks and how we'll see their results during the week Arny walking in smirking.

'Speak of the devil...' Meg begins,

'And the devil shall appear' I finish.

He looks our way smiling at us and winks at Meg; she smiles because we know what’s coming. He walks over to us and sits next to Meg so she is sat between me and him. He turns and looks at me,

'It’s nice to see you again, so soon' He tells me,

'I wish I could say the same' is my sweet reply. I haven't got any reason to react to him today because I know that when he gets home, he won’t know what hit him. Mr Baty begins the lesson by asking us all to turn to page 394, read, and then answer the questions. He waits 10 minutes for us to start then walks out. He reminds me a lot of Severus Snape from Harry Potter so me and Meg refer to him as Severus.

'Severus has left the building' Meg chirps as we know full well he won’t be coming back.

Then the class just starts chatting, no one ever does the work unless you count Sarah and a few of your other nerds that sit at the front. But soon after Arny starts to flirt with Meg so I nab her IPhone out of her bag and begin to play doddle jump on it. I only stop when I hear Meg slap Arny across the face and say.

'Honey, let me make this clear, by the time we're done you'll be running home!'

And with that she stood up grabbed her bags and mumbled to me 'let’s go' so I did.

It wasn't until lunch when i plucked up the courage to ask Meg what Arny had said to make her so angry. She mentioned that he said he wanted me back so we could 'go home' and stop this silly business about having Dominic...

'And when i told him that he isn't going anywhere with you without a fight to which he said cockily well what are you going to do about and you heard me answer and my slap of course'

'Of course, who could forget?'

We both burst out laughing at the look on Arny's face after Meg had slapped him, classic. But right then I my phone buzzed to indicate MESSAGE! So i checked it to see a message from the one and only Dominic that simply said...

'Meet me after school by my bike x'

I don't have to answer to these because he knows I’ll be there rain or shine. I really have fallen for Dominic, but within another 10 minutes i got another text that read...

'Nurses office ASAP'

What could have happened in that short ten minutes?!
