I look at my watch. It's been half an hour since the minute I sit here, waiting for the red eyed guy to get his fox ass here. I, Jennellyn Melissa Crescent, the future alpha of the Black Crescent Pack, is sitting here waiting for a fox that I hardly know who might not come. How pathetic. Why am I doing this?

Just when I'm about to leave, a tall figure enters the diner. Everyone just stop doing whatever they're doing and stare at him, especially girls. Charmed by his looks apparently.

Oh that butterfly-fluttering-in-my stomach feeling again. Why do I keep having this weird feeling whenever I see him? It's like I want to grab him into my arms whenever he's around me. My inner wolf keep growling lustfully that I have to grit my teeth to resist myself to growl.

Don't look at his eyes, Jen. That's what I keep telling myself when he saw me. I focus myself on sipping my vanilla milkshake as he walks towards me.

"Hmm looks like you like vanilla milkshake a lot huh? I'll keep that in mind." He chimes nonchalantly as he sits opposite me. He takes the menu on the table and goes through it.

"What d'you want from me?" I stop sipping my milkshake and cross my arms.

He didn't answer me. Instead, he asks me back:"So what's the bestseller around here?"

I frown. He's getting on my nerves. "Let's be straight to the point. WHAT. DO. YOU. WANT. FROM. ME?"

"Aren't you suppose to answer this customer's question as a waitress of this diner?" He grins with his right eyebrow up.

Hold up. How does he know that I worked here? It was like a year ago before I quit working here. Does that mean that he actually stalked me from who knows when? I knew this fox isn't up to something good.

"Well I would recommend you this tempura shrimp dish." Suits you who has only shit in your head.

"Cuz it suits me who has only shit in my head, right?" His right eyebrow is up there on his forehead again.

Right. This fox is reading my mind again. Why don't we just stop talking and play mind linking since you're so good at it.

"I'd like to but you werewolves can only link your mind with your mate. Unless you wanna try playing mind linking with me?" He winks and shows his perfect white teeth.

With that flirt which I don't even know whether it's counted as a flirt or not (don't judge cuz I'm not good at all these stuffs), my heart churns. My inner wolf growls even louder with lust that I almost growl.

Easy girl. What makes you so excited today?

I zone out and try to calm my wolf down before she takes control of my body to make things go nasty. He realises that and waves in front of me. I come back to my senses and clear my throat.

"Is it a good sign that my flirting can excite your little wolfie so much?" When does he know how to stop reading my mind?

"It's better if you just keep your mouth shut and order your frickin shrimp." I glare at him and let out a small fierce growl.

"Alright then." He pulls his face down and pouts sadly. Looking at him pouting with a face like that somehow makes me feel sad somewhere deep down in my heart. My inner wolf even whimper. That's weird.

He waves at the waitress for his order. The girl keeps giggling and trying to flirt with him when she's taking his orders. I roll my eyes and turn my head to the other side by feeling frustrated somehow. My wolf let out an alertful growl like when an enemy approaching.

He senses it and waves the waitress off. He settles his chin on his hands and looks at me attentively. I shift uncomfortably under his mesmerizing gaze.

"Enough with the staring?" I ask.

"Not enough for such beautifully crafted face." He replies lazily with his gaze still on my face.

And yes, my wolf apparently enjoys his compliment.

"Now that you've already ordered your food, can you just tell me whatever you have to say?" I sigh. He has wasted my almost an hour for nothing except for some weird feelings.

"Since I'm new to this city, I want you to be my guide here. Take me to whenever I wanna go anytime."

Oh my Lady Artemis, what sin have I commited to deal with such a strange fox?

"And why on earth should I do that?" I'm trying really hard to not transform into my wolf with his stupid request.

"Because of this." He takes out a necklace from his pocket and let it hanging loosely around his fingers.

The pendant is a silver crescent moon which is crafted delicately with  ancient Greek words around it that says "my love".

My eyes widen when I see the necklace. I am so appalled that I am loss for words. It's the same necklace that my mother gave me on my 12th birthday before she passed away.  The weird thing is I totally couldn't remember where and how did I lost it years ago. And now it's dangling in front of me in a stranger's hand.

"Where...did you get that?" I stagger at my words. Too dumbfounded.

"It's very important for you huh? Nice craftsmanship I see. Delicate enough to tell that it's from the hands of a mother." He speaks while he caresses the pendant.

With a swift movement from my werewolf ability, I try to snatch the necklace back from his hand. Too bad he's in time to dodge.

"Not so fast little wolfie." He smirks evilly with the necklace still in his hand.

I growl. With anger boiling up this time. I'm  ready to shift into my wolf. "What do you want from me for you to return me this necklace?"

"Chill, little wolfie. It's simple. You'll be my guide for 3 months and I'll give you the necklace back." He keeps the necklace back into his pocket.

"3 months?! Are you kidding me?!" I stand up from my seat literally yell at him until everybody's looking at us.

"Not enough? 6 months then." He stretches his smirk even wider.

"Fine, 3 months and you give me back the necklace." I slump down with my arms folded.

" You have my word." He crosses his heart with that smirk again.

Just then, the waitress come back with his shrimps. He indulges in his food happily while I'm sitting here, look constipated with what I've agreed just now.

You can imagine my current expression as I don't wanna describe it. I, Jennellyn Mellissa Crescent, has just agreed to be a so called guide to a fox who appeared out of nowhere that gives me weird feelings I never have. All of these just for that damn necklace from my mother which I lost years ago by forgetting the reason. I almost clap for myself.

After an eternity of procrastinating and having no ideas of what to write, the irresponsible author has come back with this chapter with a long crap of nonsense. Bye till the next period of procrastination.

And that's our Leooooo, starred by ZAC EFRON *fangirl squeals* Actually Leo still looks different from Zac with his hair, eyes and *whispers* height. But just imagine a taller Zac with silver hair and red eyes.
