I feel someone moving. I open my eyes to find a barely illuminated room, lit with the soft glow of a street lamp, and see Ali. He is moving from the criss-cross, backs against the wall position we were in, to lay down on the twin bed.

I don't know what time it is, but judging by the darkness, it hasn't been more than an hour since I fell asleep. Not wanting to move away from Ali, when else will I get to fall asleep with my crush, I push myself off of him.

"I didn't mean to wake you," he whispers.

"I didn't mean to fall asleep on you, sorry about that," I say, starting to be more aware of where I had fallen asleep.

"Its okay, I was just gonna move to lay down, it will be more comfortable"

"Yeah..., I'm going to go get a drink of water," I say and get off the bed.

I get some water and think about what is happening. I really want to go back to Ali's room and fall asleep in his arms again. But what if he doesn't want to me too? Twin beds aren't exactly made for two people to be in.

I walk back to his room and go in. I can see that he moved back over to the bed that he was sleeping in before.

"Ali?" I whisper.

"Yeah?"

"I know my room is right next to your's and I really hope you don't think I am weird, but can I stay?" I ask in a hushed tone, crossing my fingers.

"Yeah, sure" he breathes. I hear him move over in the small bed. He pulls the covers open to let me in. I walk over and carefully get in the bed. I am so glad that none of my friends were able to make it to Tahoe, otherwise, this would not be happening.

Once I am laying next to him, he flings the cover back over my body. The bed is pretty small, especially with two almost adults in it and we are forced to be nearly touching.

"Thanks, for letting me sleep here," I say before we both drift off.

"No problem, I mean we both fell already, so you might as well just spent the rest of the night in here, with me."

"I guess your right..." I wonder if he is as happy as I am.

"Goodnight Haylee," He softly says.

"Goodnight Alistar."  I try to fall asleep, the bed is soft and so warm, but I can't exactly quiet my brain enough to fall asleep. My mind is going crazy thinking about how close Ali is. We are both laying on our sides, facing away from the window.

After about 10 minutes of slowly starting too easy into a light sleep, I feel movement. I feel something touch my back. It's Ali. His hand moves from my back and snakes around my waist. I am surprised but I don't move.

I feel my body move as Ali pulls my body against his. I can feel his chest pressed against my back. I wonder if he is awake or sub-consciously holding me. I can't quite tell, his breathing is even. My heart is racing, I wonder if he can tell.

Pressed against his warm body, with his strong arm around me,  I let my body relax into his, and fall into a comfortable sleep.

                                                                                         ...

I wake up to a cool light coming through the window. Not fully awake or alert, my eyes begin to focus and my brain begins to take my surroundings.  Ali's arm is still around my waist and his face is buried in my neck. I can hear his deep, even breathes, and I know he is still sound asleep.
