Chessa:Gunshots

Tessa's POV

It has been 15 minutes and I'm almost scared for Chance. Where on earth is he?

I feel my phone buzz and see a text from Mother.

Mother-"4 of rouges me were just shot, make sure Chance keeps a loaded gun in your room tonight. And use protection. Mention purity, your special Tessa he picked you."

Is that what he was doing? Oh god I need answers and unbend them now Chance Sutton! I looked at the clock and saw it had been 19 minutes. I picked up the phone and began to fail 9-1-

Knock knock.

Chance was at the window and I breathed a sigh of relief. Opening the window he jumped into his room and put the pistol back in his drawer.

"So where were you?"

"I was just watching the house."

"I didn't know shooting four of The rouge family's men count as Watching the house."

"Who told you?"

"My mother, she also said you should sleep with that gun loaded. My house has been robbed before and it helps to have a gun. "

Chance nodded and reloaded the pistol.

"How can you do that? Kill people, like, so heartless."

"Orders, its all professional, and if I don't do it first, they I'm the one shot. No one targets my dad anymore even though he leads the mafia. I'm the one that's strong so people try to take me out. Whereas with you, all they have to do is kidnap you and they already have maybe at least 8 million in ransom. "

I nodded my head and shut the bathroom door, throwing on a black bralette, oversized hoodie, and very shorts that were slightly too short. I don't want to look bad but I don't know hat to look like either...

I found Chance sitting shirtless on his, well our, bed. He was scrolling though his phone and I couldn't help but stare. All those shootings really paid off... I awkwardly sat down next to him and fiddled with my deep red fingernails.

"So are we suppose to ya know enjoy this?" I questioned

"Well that depends on what you want Tessa."

Chance slept sat up and placed one hand on my leg causing me to tense up.

"You alright? " He asked

I shook my head and smiled, this is normal right.

"Okay well you act really uncomfortable... have you ever actually slept with someone before?"

I shook my head and never broke out stare.

"So your a virgin?!"

I nodded. "Yup"

"Don't worry then. We don't have to ya know...let's just go to bed."

He looked at me like I was a cake or something, like a hawk looking at an untouched price of meat. Was that all this would ever mean to him?

I payed down next to Chance and made sure to not touch him no matter how much I wanted to. I accentally brushed my leg against his and he wrapped an arm around me pulling me closer. I didn't know what to say, so I cuddled into his chest, making all my fears go away. I don't like Chance, but it is nice to have someone who know how to shoot next to you when your trying to not die.

In the morning...

The early morning sun poked through his blinds as I realized what happened last night. I lifted my head from Chances bare chest and somehow managed to get fully in top of him in the middle of the night. I laid my head back down felling safe when Chance woke up. He squeezed me into a hug and rolled me into my side.

"Good morning" he said with pride

"Morning"

Just then gun shots echoed down stairs.

I screamed a big and clung to Chance who was already standing up loading more and more guns. I stood behind him and he whispers in my ear.

"Do you know how to shoot?"

"My dad showed me, but I've never actually done it."

It was clearly different from being told how and actually shooting someone. Chance handed me the pistol from last night and he showed me how to hold it.

"Wait in here. Only fire if someone enters the room okay?"

I shook my head and Chance jiggled the door knob remembering it was locked. It began to unlock from the outside when Chance sprang in front of me and shot the guy all in less then a second. He really did have skills...

Thanks for reading this chapter and I hope you enjoyed it! I just wanted to say that I just saw the most true Instagram post ever!(about chessa) so hopefully Alex is just a temporary rebound for Chance because he's going through a "hard time". Hopefully this is true but who knows...

Oh and right now I'm really upset that Tessa left the team ten house but I think it will be good for her to not have to see Chance and Alex together...
