"Morning babe." Said a familiar voice but it wasn't Tessa's?!
"What" I shot up in bed and looked around to see a naked Alex laying next to me and that's when I remembered parts of last night. She tried to roll on top of me but I denied her, walking towards the bathroom to get in the shower. I let the glass fog up and the warm water helped me think about everything. Do I miss Tessa? Yes. But is Alex as good? No. Can I love Alex though? Maybe. But I had to accept the way things are now...
I ran my fingers through my wet hair and sighed turning off the water. Alex was still sitting on the bed and I decided that I needed to upload something to my insta story as an explanation so while Alex showers I made a video that said Tessa and I just wanted to be friends and that things went too fast between us. I uploaded it and left the room walking down stairs to get breakfast. Tessa was sitting at the table staring blankly at her phone screen.
"Hey" I said
Tessa sat still and didn't even look towards me, sitting as still as stone. "Tessa?"
"I'm screwed." She said placing her hands in her head throwing her phone on the table. I sat down next to her and she glanced up at me.
"What's wrong Tessa?"
"Since when do you care about my feelings Chance?!"
"Since I do! What's wrong Tessa?"
She stood up and went to leave but I blocked her way. "I can't be Bella's guardian. I'm not 21..you have to be at least 21..."she said upset
Tears formed in her eyes and I finally understood how much Bella meant to her. "I can talk to the court and they will reason with me..." I told her our faces were now close and I brushed the hair out of her eyes. I leaned a but closer and she did too but then pulled away just before our lips connected.
"I can't do this Chance-"
"Why not!?"
"I'm not your girl anymore!"
"That doesn't matter..."
"You seriously don't understand do you?! I'm not just your little toy like Alex is!"
"Alex isn't a toy to me Tessa..."
"Well she was screaming like your toy all of last night! Face it she's a little b**** and your just a man whore!"
She sat back down at the table and I got a call from my dad telling me my new assignment. I had to find the people who bombed the Brooks mansion in New York. An inside source says they are in LA...
Tessa's POV
I love him so much and I want him more then anything right now... he means so much to me and is totally oblivious to it... I miss having someone who understands my situation. I even miss his stupid pick up lines...
I slammed my head in the table when my phone rang. I answered.
"Hello, this is Kelly from TMZ, we were wondering if you would like to do an interview on live TV today?"
"Oh umm that would be amazing! But why and who would be there?"
"Well we want to address why your called off your wedding, we also invited Alex, who is supposedly dating Chance now is that correct."
"I'm not commenting. But I'll do the show."
"Great be at the studio by 11 am, this is the address. #%**~}%^#%}| "
"Ok thank you I will be there!"
I wiped my blurred eyes and walked upstairs, deciding to get ready for the day.
I took a shower, blow dryer my hair, and then did my makeup before deciding on an outfit. I decided to go with a hot look so I wore this and asked Bella to take a picture of me so I could post it on Instagram. ⬇️

I know it's a petty thing to throw shade and I'm usually a positive person but when life is terrible sometimes you can't help yourself. I said bye to Bella and called an uber because I don't have a car.
The uber ride was silent and it gave me lots of time to just think. Do I miss Chance? Yup. But did I actually like him? I don't know... I think I love him.
BEEP! I jumped as the uber driver honked at a yellow Lamborghini. Wait that's chances! I can't believe he would let Alex drive that to the show.
We pulled up to the set and I walked out of the car towards the doors. I was greeted by a women named Lauren who showed be to a chair with my name on it. Right across the room was a sight that broke my heart....well shattered it even more...
