Chances pov

I looked at Tessa in shock and realized how much of a d*** I've been to her. My phone rang and I left the room, ready to complete my new mission. To find, and kill the men who bombed her house. And then hopefully find out who they work for.

I left the hospital leaving Alex in the waiting room and sped down the busy streets of LA, trying to catch the guys while they are making a deal.

I pulled up out front of the bar I owned and walked outback, where the deal is supposed to take place. I sat in the same place and ducked down as the man who tried to shoot Tessa. Oh my god am I crying. I shook my head and sped my slightly red eyes. Then two men emerged from there cars and walked down the alley. They both flashed badges and one pulled out money while the other pulled out a brief case containing most likely some drug.

I drew my gun and shot two bullets before taking the money, and their wallets in hopes of finding information.   I drive back to the house and found Tessa on the couch.

"How did your night go?" She asked

"Pretty good. Here."'I handed her the stack of cash.

"Chance I-"

"Save it. You need it. Besides I feel bad about the while Bella situation. Hey wanna help me go through these peoples wallets and badges?"

"Sure but can we stay on the couch? I'm really tired."

"Ok that works." I pulled out the wallets and Tessa emptied them separating the items into piles. We pocketed the cash, traced credit cards, and googled people. But Tessa still had no idea why these people were being searched for. Continuing to dig through the piles Tessa finally found an ID but the photo was blacked out.

"Hmm... Evan Smith...do you know that name?" I said knowing the name sounded familiar.

"I do! But ugh who! But I know that name!" Tessa said placing her head in
Her hands. "Wait why are you asking me?!"

"It's classified baby- Uhh Tessa."

"Oh but you can tell me!"

"No I can't."

"Wait is this about the people who bombed my house. If so, they most likely just ran off..."

"How did you know?"

"I guessed. God my head hurts." Said Tessa laying down on the couch. I grabbed her a blanket and decided to just rest my eyes for a minute....

2am (Tessa's pov)

I woke up and panicked for a second before realizing where I was. I guess I fell asleep in the living room, oh look there Chance. Chance was sleeping on the other end of the huge couch, the only thing touching were our feet. I sat up next to him towards the middle of the couch and he pulled the blanket off of me, wrapping it around him self. I leaned over him, still sitting and went to grab it back out of his trying grip. He let go of the blanket and wrapped his arms around me pulling me to his warm chest. I decided to not fight it, because I wanted it to. I laid my head down on chances chest and he rubbed small circles on my back, probably thinking I was Alex...

"Good night baby girl..." he said drifting off to sleep.

The next morning...

I woke up to the sound of... nothing. Just soft, raspy breathing. I looked up and saw Chance next to me, our bodies intertwined. Oh wow I missed this...

I laid my head back down onto chances chest and he moved a bit, wrapping his arms tighter around me. I smiled a bit and Chance pulled me on top of him, most likely still thinking I was Alex.

He sat up calmly and brushed his fingers through his hair. There I sat, straddling chances lap, freaking out inside.

"So..." Chance said smirking.

"So..." I said back laughing a bit.

"Did you sleep good?"

"Yup." I said, sort of zoning out. I started to get off of chances lap when I felt a huge bulge in his joggers. Oh...

"You okay Tessa?"

"Uhh yeah. Why?" I said trying to hold back my giggle.

"Oh nothing." Chance said awkwardly. I sat Right next to Chance and he pulled the blanket over his lap, most likely hoping I don't notice.

"Down boy. Don't get too excited..."
I said making Chance blush. I laughed a bit while Chance laughed too, turning redder then a tomato on a ketchup bottle. "Oh crap. I'm with Alex...I need to go upstairs. Please don't tell her we fell asleep down here!"

Chance raced up the steps leaving me in shock. What was this boy doing to me...

So I'm running out of ideas for this story...please suggest things because I need more! Thanks! And I want to thank y'all for the positive feedback! It really is encouraging and makes me want to keep writing!
