Tessa's POV

I held onto Chances arm out of fear but quickly let go. He walked over to the now bloody body and picked it up.

"I'm going to handle this and then I'll see you later okay?"

I shook my head and put the gun back in his drawer. I brushed my hair and threw on a white lace romper that I paired with white heels. Just as I walked down stairs Chance came through the door and I tried to ignore him. He did save my life and all, and was really hot, but acted too way cocky for me.

I tried to make the silent breakfast as welcoming as possible, but things got uncomfortable fast.

Chances mom-"So are there going to be any mafia baby's? "

Chance-"Maybe who knows?!"

I elbowed him in the side and he laughed causing the room to erupt into laughter.

Daddy-"Do Tessa, how was your first kiss? Are you excited to be marrying Chance next month."

Tessa-"Yes daddy."

I smiled and everyone seemed happy with my answer. I got up to leave and Chance followed. I shut the bedroom door trying to keep him out.

"You've never kissed anyone either?!"

"Yeah purity remember..."

"Well we can change that.."

"No we won't-"

I say. Why does he have to be so sexual all the time. Chance went down to his fathers office and I read reports about the shooting to make sure our families were in the clear.

6pm at night...

"Lets go on a date, and actually get to know each other." Chance said

"Sure, what choice do I have?"

I grabbed my purse and we walked down stairs avoiding our parents. He opened the car door and helped me in while I watched him drive down the street.

Chance placed his hand on my thigh and I let out a sigh. I didn't tense up, but didn't want nor either, this was good for now.

When we pulled into a parking lot I knew instantly where we were. One of the famous Sutton bars, owned by Chance Sutton, CEO of that stuff. He once again opened the door for me and when we walked in I realized that this was more of a Casino than a bar, but there were no games. The elegantly decorated rooms showed how expressive it really was and the bars were packed with people drinking and having fun. We walked through a crowd and Chance put his arm around me, once again giving me relief. I smiled up at him and he took me to one of the outdoor tables in a sectioned off part of the balcony.

Chance-"Ya like it baby girl?"

Tessa-"Really? baby girl? That's the best you've got?"

Chance-"It suits you well baby girl."

I laughed and smiled at him. What on earth Chance Sutton, you are so crazy.

Chance-"You know if I said you have a really nice body! Would you hold it against me?"

Tessa-"Stop"

Chance-"Id tell you another joke but it's to long..."

Tessa-"Shut up okay! I'm not just a one night thing and I don't even want to be here so can we just try to make this a decent situation."

Chance-"Fine, whatever you want baby girl. Just know that our engagement party is tomorrow. We need to act in love because some reporters are invited so our families get more publicity... yay..."

I half smiled and finished eating my meal.

We drove home in silence, with chances right hand resting on my thigh. I waited until we got to the room and then I confronted him.

"You know that when we're married you can't be clubbing right."

"Uh I guess I mean, I hate being tied down but okay."

"Just don't cheat on me, even if this is fake, you'll just make yourself look bad and right now the last thing we need is you being public."

"Why do you have attitude about everything!"

"Because I've heard about you, your a ruthless killing michine who hops from girl to girl each night!"

"But maybe I won't anymore"

"Give me one reason why I should believe you!"

Chance ran up to me and gently grabbed my cheek, kissing me.
