Tessa POV

I walked up to the front door and found Erika waiting inside. She ran up and gave me a hug while I completely lost it in her shoulder. She helped me upstairs and we went to my new room. She sat on the bed with me and I could tell she thought I was a wreck.

"T I'm so sorry. But I have to ask, did you really love him or was the marriage arranged?"

"It was arranged at first but I f****** love him. And I was so stupid I didn't realize it until he was with Alex last night."

"Wait you had to listen to them..."

"Yeah.." my voice cracked and Erika gave me a hug. "The worst part is that Alex is not even part of the mafia, just a "family friend" who wants money,"

"Oh bobby jean I'm so sorry. When I see Chance I'm kicking his a**."

"Thanks Rik."

She pulled out her phone and showed me a video from Chances Instagram story.

Chance-"So guys chessa is now over and I'm with Alex now. Tessa and I felt our engagement went too fast and that we were better as friends. Sorry to all you chessa shippers."

Erika's POV

Tessa began to sniffle and I gave her a hug. We talked for a bit longer and then I had a shoot to go to so I went downstairs. When I was about to leave Chance came in without Alex and I knew he needed to be yelled at.

"Hey Erika, what are you doing here."

"Oh nothing just hanging with Tessa and hearing the REAL story about your break up."

"What do you mean?"

"I know how you cheated, and then used her for money. I'm not stupid Chance. And next time you bang a girl, please make sure Tessa isn't still awake because she was a wreck last night."

"Wait she heard me and Alex?!"

"Chance she said you guys were screaming... look you need to get your act together because right now a beautiful girl is sitting up there crying because she has nothing left, including you. Chance I know you may not realize this but look around. You broke her, and yes I know Alex wasn't your choice, but at least act a little hurt! And for the record Jake is hearing about this.."

I left out the door and saw Alex sitting in the porch. I walked over to her and slapped her hard across the face. "Never mess with Tessa again or this goat right here is gonna kick your a**" i said practically screaming.

Chances POV

Why does Erika have to tell Jake! This is supposed to be private!! I sat down at the table testy eyes and looked up to find Tessa standing in shock at the railing. "Why would you tell her!?" I screamed.

"Because someone needs to know the truth. And right now she's the only friend I have Chance..."

"Don't act like your the victim here Tessa because there isn't one!"

"There's a victim in everything Chance and this time it's not you! Face it...you screwed up everything! If you had just let that man shoot me none of this would have ever happened."

Tessa got a phone call and picked it up while I half listened. This is what she said⬇️

"What today?!"

"Why now? Please give me more time!"

"Okay..."

She called Bella's name and I walked up the stairs towards her while Bella came out of her room. Tears fell down Tessa's face and she whispers something to Bella who looked frightened. Bella turned away and Tessa looked back at me.

"What happened this time Tess?"

"Nothing that concerns you."

"Baby- uhh wait Tessa. What?"

"There taking Bella. The government or whatever. There sending someone to pick her up in like ten minutes. That why I was crying this morning, and I just feel so bad. This is all my fault."

I gave Tessa a hug. She was losing her sister, the only family she has left. Even if we aren't friends she needs someone.
