Chessa:Gunshots

Tessa's POV

I braced myself for impact but it never came. I head a loud scream from behind me and turned to see a man dressed in all black. I looked at Chance with tears in my eyes...the bitter night air made them cold as they slowly dropped down my face.

Tessa-"Was he going to kill me?"

Chance nodded and I carried into his chest, knowing my own father sent for me to be murdered. Chance picked me up and we walked around the side of the Casino, with his a around me. He opened the door to the yellow car and I stepped in.

Tessa-"What about the red car? I can drive if you need me to..."

Chance-"Its fine... ill send someone to get it tomorrow. You should know your family had already left."

Tessa-"That's a good thing..."

The rest of the ride was silent and it was comfortable. Chances hand was resting on my thigh and for once I wasn't paranoid about mafia business, it was just me, Tessa brooks, being me.

I woke up in Chances bed, and it was still dark out. Chance was asleep next to me and I glanced at the clock, 2:03am. I snuggled back into Chances chest and fell asleep, wondering what happened when we got home...

In the morning, I woke up and Met Chance and his parents down stairs for breakfast.

Jackie-"Tessa, I don't like that little running stunt you pulled yesterday... and you Chance, as her fiancé it's your job to watch out for her!"

I rolled my eyes at her comment, she always brings up more and more f****** stupid drama, which just created more!! She seriously feeds off of it... 

After that awkward breakfast I walked down the street to a cafe with Chance so we could grab a smoothie. While Chance was in the bathroom I met this funny guy named Brad.

Brad-"Hey pretty lady..."

Tessa-"umm hi?"

Brad-"I'm brad, what's your name?"

Tessa-"Tessa"

Brad-"Wow, a beautiful name for a gorgeous girl.  Seems fitting... hey if you ever want to hang out some time here's my number. I just moved here so I would like to get to know people..."

Tessa-"I just moved here too!"

Brad-"So sweetie are you here alone?"

Tessa-"no im here with"

Chance-"me, her boyfriend."

Chance walked up to me and pulled me to his waist. Brad walked out of the cafe and seemed upset and I knew it was because Chance scared him off.

Tessa-"You didn't have to scare him off Chance, he's just a friend."

Chance-"Trust me he wanted more than that..."

Tessa-"You know it's really cute when your jealous. "

Chance-"I'm not jealous. I'm just trying to make sure you don't let the word see that are marriage is fake. And thanks by the way."

Tessa-"for what?"

Chance-"calling me really cute."

Tessa-"Not like that Chance..."

Chance-"You know you love me."

He stepped a bit closer to my face and pecked be on the lips causing my entire body to freeZe in shock. Do I like Chance? No... I just like the thought of him, but in reality he's not like that.

Cashier-"Next!"

Chance steeped up and bought me a smoothie even though I insisted on paying. We walked back to the table in the corner of the shop and sat down. The conversation was minimum at first but then we started to argue about brad. Eventually I got tired and we left to go shopping when Chance got another "work" call and headed out.

Hours later he came back and seemed hesitant about everything. When he came down next to me in bed I confronted him...

Tessa-"Chance why are you acting so strange? I'm scared."

Chance-"Don't be scared baby girl, I'm fine, everything's perfect."

Tessa-"Don't lie to me."

Chance-"I'm not telling you baby girl, I know you. You won't believe me, get all mad, and then cry. Trust me it's not worth it."

He seemed pretty upset about whatever it was bothering him and I knew that until he told me it would linger in the air. Chance cuddled to me and traced his fingers over the edge of my stomach, God what was he doing to me?

Chance-"So what about your new "friend" the one that's trying to get in your pants..."

Tessa-"Brads not trying anything Chance. But you are."

Chance-"I never said I wasn't, but he is."

Chance is on top of me so I decided to put my hands on his chest just to tease him, until he tells me. I rolled us over and sat up on his lap.

Chance-"I know what your doing Baby girl, and it's working..."

Tessa-"Oh I'm not doing anything,"

I traced my hands over his collar bone and knew he would break in seconds.... the truth here I come.

Can I just say that the video I linked is 44 MINUTES LONG!!! Like that's how you know chessa is real...
